I do agree that Kotoura-san can be on thin ice with some. The anime started out very nice, and the subsequent episodes that followed is good and this is the problem. There hasn't been another episode that raised the anime again, right now it kinda flat-lined. With the latest episode and the ending, we might see a jump again which will propel the anime even further since the pilot episode.

I'll agree with you, but I still think it's better than any of the other animes I watch this season.
Tamako Market is close, but that's just moe :P
I think this week's ep of Kotoura-san will be quite interesting.

ooo god yes, defiantly the anime has something that many animes have been missing the past few seasons. I can't put my finger on it the anime is very solid.

Amnesia & Vividred Operation ~ I see I'm not alone in dropping those two.

Maoyuu ~ The first few episodes got me hooked but I'm losing interest. I'll give it another two episodes before deciding.

Da Cappo III ~ I want to follow the story but the fan service is killing it for me.

Tamako Market isn't too bad. How many episodes did you watch?

Part of #1... hated the damned bird, couldn't imagine watching more of it, didn't see enough to warrant watching more since, as you saw, I'm watching so much already. Sorry, talking Bird was just an instant turnoff for me.

But to you, how can you not love Little Busters??? So emotional, so funny, how many episodes of that did you watch?

I can't stand the talking bird either, but honestly the show is quite interesting besides it and a good time waster. Also, if you're into moe it's perfect!
Just like you did with Tamako Market, only 1 episode. Honestly, it seemed lame from the start and the characters were quite.. well, boring.

I don't subscribe to theanimenetwork.com so unfortunately one episode is all I could see. When they make the whole series free I might give it another try or if they get a good enough show for me to subscribe I will watch that one as well. Chuunibyou almost made me subscribe, almost. I am 100% legit so please don't suggest fansubs or torrents...

If you give Little Busters a chance again watch 1-6 at least. If you aren't moved by the story in 4-6 then I guess it just isn't for you. I actually bought the first two BDs of Little Busters before I had even seen those episodes but man, 4-6 are so SO good!

Oooooh okay. I can understand why you didn't like the first episode. I didn't exactly like it either. But it does get better after a while! And, unfortunately, the only way you'll probably come to like Tamako Market is if you watch the fansubs. I don't think crunchyroll is going to take it.
The plot gets a bit more interesting, too: the bird is actually from a far away island, searching for a princess for his prince: if a girl sneezes, it means she's in love with the male. Randomly, light beams will shoot from the birds' eyes and you'll see a dark skinned dude (the prince?) waving and saying the birds' name repeatedly.

Also, Tamako's friends are pretty... interesting, and there is a bit of romance in it (very slight so far, only crushes)

I will try to watch more episodes in the mean time! I really liked the baseball anime Ookiku Furikabutte (slight, slight hints of BL: so warning if you can't stand slight wafting scents of homosexuality. lmao) so maybe I'll come to like little busters, too.

Thanks for the insight! :)
