I was watching Kanokon on Crunchyroll, and when I checked my queue today it was gone. It's on crunchyroll, but they removed all episodes. There was no warning of any sort that I saw, it was just removed...

So, my question is: Does Crunchyroll ever warn before removing an anime or Drama? For example, they could put a little notification under the show saying "To be removed on -blank- date" or " To be removed in -blank- days."
Do they do this and I just missed it, or do they give no warning at all?...

Usually there is warning. Used to be thirty days but has been as short as a week lately. A thread in Site News is usually up. Coincidence I am not sure but recently titles in the spotlight one month are gone the next month.

If something just disappeared it is often a temporary problem. Complain in the Help forum.

Buying the discs is the only way to be sure you can always watch it!

It still exists

CR will indeed say when they will remove a title. On the side of an episode look for a "Available until -insert date-". That is how you know when a certain episode will be remove.

Yes, they do warn when a show is going to be taken down, and they tell you the date on which it will happen. Generally you are given some time to catch up before it is too late.

As for Kanokon, it's not been taken down. I can still see the episodes. You may just have run into a glitch.

My bad. I was watching it from the Xbox 360 app, and I made this post before looking on here. I can still stream it from the site just not from the xbox app, so it must be an error on that end. Thanks for the help, and now I'll know when they're going to remove stuff.

Actually, several of the shows I've been watching have had the episodes pulled, and I've never seen a warning. I watch from my laptop, and have never noticed an "available until date." Will start looking for such. . .

as far as I've seen, CR does give a few weeks notice that they will remove a show due to licensing and stuff

As others have noted, the episodes are still there:

Aside from missing from your queue, it is also missing at the moment from the alphabetical series list.

When a series disappears from CR without notice, or suddenly displays that it is no longer available in your region, it is better to first assume it is a technical issue, rather than that is pulled without notice, because more than likely the former is the cause.

As for the notices of series being removed, read my next reply:

Once upon a time, CR did not give any notice, but that has not been the case for well over 2 years. Now they are announced in the Site News topic, and typically take the form of "Series Name Marathon Needed". Run a search of that section of the forum using the term "Marathon", and you'll find several from the past. (Personally, I would prefer the more straightforward topic title of "Series Name unavailable after Date!").

hey guys, I have more or less the same problem with naruto shippuden, I can't see the episodes under http://www.crunchyroll.com/naruto-shippuden and it's been like this for at least 3 weeks now. I was hoping it would be a temporary problem but it doesn't seem to get better. And I don't think it has anything to do with the medium I'm using, I'm on my laptop and I've tried entering with Chrome and Firefox and it still won't do the trick.

The weird thing is... if I go into my history and click on a video I've already watched, it takes me there and the video just starts playing normally. It is only the list of videos I can't see. The same thing is happening for One piece, Fairy Tail and Naruto and other series.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue here? Did I miss something?

That sounds pretty strange.. I'm seeing the Naruto episodes listed in that link, just 359 (as of right now) is premium from what I could see. Could you post a screenshot of your Naruto page, especially the part to the right, where it should say "availability information" and "about the show"?

ok, it's attached to this post. Don't get confused by the German ;)

as you can see, it's also showing zero videos for Naruto and One Piece and if I click on those, I have the exact same thing happening

That is the problem, right there. If you have the site language in German, it will only show episodes available in German. Change it back to english and the episodes should show up.

Hi, I was watching some animes ( including Irregular at magic high school and Trouble children really do come from a different world, or something like that) and a lot of them were deleted or at least missing without notice. Now, I don't know if this is because I am watching on my phone. But, it has been bothering me. Please help!

P.S. I am on a vacation in vietnam, maybe that's the problem?

Usually there will be a site news announcement when something gets taken down. But in your case, yes it's probably because you're currently in Vietnam. What's available to you depends on your region, and region is determined based on IP address. When you return home, the shows that were available to you, should be available again.
