I've been looking through A Certain Scientific Railgun as well, and although it's not my genre of choice, it's still a damn good time.

I recently saw the first episode of Kaiba, and it's a legitimate tour de force - same director as Tatami Galaxy.

A few weeks ago I finished Revolutionary Girl Utena. It has the same director as Mawaru Penguindrum, but its animation is embedded in 90s shojo (it was released in 1997) and its main character is a thousand times more down-to-earth than the ever-dramatic Shouma and Kanba. It's a wonderfully fun exploration of feminist and post-modernist themes.

I wasn't much into anime much back then, I only watched toonami but wasn't a serious anime fan. Bug then like a year ago I think I started watching sora no otoshimono and man I just wanted to watch more drama or comedy so then I watched shakugan no Shana and aria the scarlet ammo and from there I started watching a lot of animes and started doing all-nighters on weekends. But I still don't consider myself an otaku but I do know a few Japanese words and have a lot of jpop and kpop songs on my phone.

I just started watching Madoka Magica. When I saw the pictures, I thought, "I know what this is. This is the magical girl show where everything is really cutesy and it will be a comedy." started researching Suisei no Gargantia and found that both shows are written by the same guy who did Requiem for a Phantom, one of my favorites. Yeah, I started watching it and I am pleasantly surprised.

The Hakkenden...this is the original geneon ova series. Not as bishie as the one on CR, (it is based off the original) lots of blood and gore. but the story is really good, it's nice to see how it all began.

And I just finished watching Gintama..now on to Prince of Tennis and The Knight in the Area.

Just finished watching Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They? and it was such a good series and I wish I had watched it sooner!!!

As for new series, I'm currently watching Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, No Matter How I Look At It It's You Guys Fault I'm Not Popular, and Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita (Humanity Has Declined) and so far they are all amazing series!!!! And I guess Attack on Titan counts even though I have been watching it since the beginning ^^"
