Yes, but I am torn between the past and the future. My love of the warrior code makes me wish I was born in the Sengoku period my love of all things technological make me wish I was born in the far future.

Yes, but haven't we all? I've grown to like some aspects of this era. No matter when you're born, there will be something about the times that you dislike.

Doesn't matter to me if I was born in the right time or not, but the question is: How were you born or what group of people you were born into because everything is a coincidence.

So what is the purpose of this conquest?

I wish I was born in '90, or '89. I feel older than I really am. Not in a self-centered way, of course. But I feel like I'm the only teenager who see's things completely differently, and can actually control my hormones. I'm the youngest one in my group of friends, but I'm always the one who happens to solve our "drama problems." =_=

Sometimes yes. I was an '87 baby. I wish I was born during the Ancient Egyptians era. It would be awesome to watch the pyramids as they're being built!!

I only wish I was born earlier so that the age gap between my celebrity crushes and me wasn't so drastic. But I guess I'll have to live with that fact that I'm two decades younger than Benedict Cumberbatch. xD

The universe is binary things exist in pairs. These pairs are not opposite though they may seem to be, they are rather like two sides of the same coin. There is darkness and there is light. There is positive charge and negative charge. There are 1s and there are 0s. There is life and there is death. There are predators and there are Prey. There are the strong and there are weak. There is religion and there is reality. There is freedom and there is slavery. There are the conquerors and the conquered. The strong feed on the weak the weak give sustenance to the strong. One should not have to ask the purpose of conquest. Since time was time the strong have fed on the weak. They have taken everything from the weak. Their land, their resources, their property, their wives and their lives. War has been raged by many orders of the animal kingdom forever. From the ants up to dolphins and chimps they all take from the weak because they are strong. Yes, strength that is why conquest is necessary because the strong feed off of the weak. There is no purpose to the conquest we are better we are stronger so we take what we want when we want and how we want. The Romans, The Mongols, The Persians, The Vikings, The Goths, The Huns, The Japanese, The Britons all of them were strong and forged vast empires. The were strong and powerful and the killed and took anyone and everything that they desired. This is what conquest is it means you are strong, it means you feed of the weak and gain more strength the weak the conquered exist to feed the appetites of the strong.

With the exception of equality, this is mostly fictional, but I wish I could be born in a time where we still wore Victorian-Era garments and women were truly seen as equals.

I'll admit there's something to be said for a more simplistic lifestyle, and likewise there is an attraction to the idea of living in one of the ancient civilizations. When I was younger, I did feel it may have been more fun to live in such times. Life in modern times is far better though in pretty much every way. The lack of simplicity and the rather regimented lifestyle society attempts to force on people are not terrible tradeoffs for what has been gained.

Personally, I wish I were born about 50 years from now, as I expect those born in that time period should have the opportunity for actual immortality. People my age will have to just hope progress towards that goes the best it can...

Anyway, here's a poem related to the topic:

I feel that '94 was just about the right year for me, I got experience the growth of video games from SNES to now and by the time I got into anime (2007) most of the classics were already made. If I could change when I was born, I'd take 2 or 3 years earlier, Wouldn't mind being in my 20's now, that's all
