With the exception of equality, this is mostly fictional, but I wish I could be born in a time where we still wore Victorian-Era garments and women were truly seen as equals.

Agreed on that, though I would want to be in that time for the Victorian dresses though. I love Victorian dresses. ^^ -thinks of Black Butler-

I actually like being born in this time. I mean besides being an older sister to girls and being worried for them, it's a pretty good time for equality and technology.

I know someone though who I believe was totally born in the wrong time. The way he dresses, his room, what he does, is very 80s style. He pulls it off very well and looks good doing it, but I believe he would have been happier in those times. Haha.

I would really like to live in the 60s. I'd hear Hendrix on the radio, watch the moon landing in school and live in the era where rock reigned supreme. And of course there's The Beatles. The greatest band of all time.
Or maybe the 80s. I mean, being a kid in the 80s sounds amazing. Then I'd become an edgy teenager in the 90s and listen to Alternative music.

Not that I regret being born in an era with so much cool technology (And easy access to anime I might add), but I would just love to live back in one of those times.

If I had my preference, I'd rather have been born about 500-1000 years after I actually was. Assuming that our technological progress continued to advance at the rate it has been lately, I would expect that period to be nothing short of astounding by today's standards. It'd be nice to actually get to experience that.

Yes, the 80's were awesome! I only wish I was in my 20's to be able to take full advantage of it. (I was a teen)

I am happy here and what I am. If I was someone else or in a different time or space Me would not be the same. I value this me.
I don't wish for anything else. Only to stay strong those times when I lose faith in things...

I love the modern conveniences (central heat/ac and indoor flush toilets, for example), but abhor the declining civility I witness. I think that my personal values lean more towards Victorian ideals, but I guess I'm generally ok where I'm at in time.

I remember thinking I was barn in the wrong time. It's usually for one thing in particular like wanting to live off the land or something. I feel we depend too much on modern conveniences. But then when I think about it there are some things that weren't available back then that we have now and I don't think I'd trade.
