I havent read everyones response, sorry but I always felt I was born in the wrong time era. My main reason was times and issues were more simple then than they are now, but is that really true? Now that I really think about it, no before phones and internet news could take days to years to spread to certain locations. I love this question since I've felt similar so many times but if your reasoning is similar to mine then no we were not born into the wrong era. We were born in the era we were meant to, cause we still question when most answer, where so many find advances we can see the faults in them. Which is why we have gone as far as we have in human evolution, it is not so much as the, "rights" as it is the, "wrongs." You learn from being wrong but thinking your right is far more difficult to hear a different perspective. I'm glad theirs someone else who asked this question besides me.

Yep. I'd be fine in pretty much anything 100+ years back. Even though i'm fine with computers and such.
I'd rather things be simpler. And leave all these things to invent to me...nothing left to invent.

Would you prefer my generation?

I thought not.

Haha, I should've been born at least 5 years earlier. No later. I feel sorry for your generation.

Not really, I am perfectly happy with the year I was born in. Sure I wouldn't mind having been born later with better and better technology. Plus it would be rather entertaining to be able to play video games made 100 years ago if I was born in say, 2090 or something.(If you could even find a copy that survived lol). But no, I'm pretty happy when I was born. I wouldn't want to have been born any earlier though. I like technology and am not really a fan of the 60s or 70s. As for ancient times, they are fun to read about and play games during, but not live in.

Well, I can't say like I feel like I was born at the wrong time. That's something that's out of my hands. But If I could pick, I would pick a year during the 1700's. Back in the day when classical musicians were the ones playing the then "popular music". But no anime in that era... darn

Eh, I'm fine here. However, I would take being born in the future when we have better technology and live longer lives (hopefully). But you know what they say, "the grass is always greener on the other side," so I would probably stick with where I am at now.

Totally. No serious cybernetics, no interstellar travel, no real VR/AR, not even a colony outside our little rock here. And we still have sexism, racism, homophobia...
I hope to survive into the right era though.

I am glad I didn't get born any earlier. Everybody always romanticizes the "simpler times," but to me that's nothing but a lack of options and good content. And as recently as a couple decades ago everything was a*s-backwards socially. Women, blacks, and foreigners were treated as barely human, health care was more likely to end your life than save it... Even the wars were worse in the past; say what you will about guns and tanks and missiles, but they're preferable to spears and knives and wading through your comrades' blood and feces.
