Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and it still is to this day. Hot Topic tried to ruin it for me (much like it tried to ruin goth culture and other things I enjoy) but it failed horribly at doing so. I love it so much I've memorized the entire script by heart and even sing/hum the songs to myself every now and then.

Balto. I went through this entire thread to see if anybody else would mention it (one other person did). I was completely obsessed with the title character; he was my imaginary friend for around 6 years. (Funnily enough, when I grew up I met another woman who used to have Balto as an imaginary friend too.)

But it was a mistake to rent the movie as an adult. Now I realize just how crappy of a movie it really is. Nostalgia ruined.

I also watched a ton of The Lion King. I'm waiting for Disney to re-release it out of the vault, because unlike Balto, this movie actually appears to have stood the test of time, both animation-wise and, really, in every other aspect too.
