oh ~ i go for both : ) sometimes you just have read manga when you just can't wait to know what's happening on the new upcoming episode of that certain anime .

I think it mostly depends on the series and/or genre and which one came out first.
A couple of times I've read a manga first and then it came out with an anime adaptation and was fairly disappointed.
Sometimes I see the anime before the manga and then I wouldn't want to read the manga because I know the two are different.
Some genres I'd just prefer to see pictures of rather than animated.
In general, I watch more anime legally than reading manga. Although since getting a job, I have been able to buy more manga.

I find manga a bit better 'cause it's more detailed than anime ^^
But after I finish reading all the volumes, I watch the anime :DD
