[UPDATE] Episodes #1-#6 of GJ Club will be available for Premium Members TOMORROW, Monday, February 25, 2013, at 11:00am PST. Free members will be able to catch up on of all of the antics of the GJ Club Wednesday, at the regular GJ Club launch time.

Hey guys!

It's almost mid-way through the season, but we've still got news for you! Starting TOMORROW, February 20, at 11:00am PST, premium members will be able to watch GJ CLUB! Since we are a few weeks after the start of the series in Japan, we will be broadcasting Episode 7 first, and Episodes #1-#6 will be added later on. GJ CLUB will be broadcast every Wednesday at the same time, and free users will be able to watch the simulcast episodes one week after premium members.

GJ CLUB will be available to Crunchyroll audiences in the following territories: U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

GJ CLUB, known as GJ-bu, was originally published as a light novel written by Shin Araki, and illustrated by Aruya. The story centers around a high school student named Kyoya Shinomiya, who has been forced to join a club at his high school, called GJ-bu (Good Job). There, he meets the four unique female members of the club, Mao Amatsuka, Shion Sumeragi, Megumi Amatsuka, and Kirara Bernstein. From then on, he becomes dragged into their antics and interactions that take place in the club.

GJ-CLUB features voice actor Hiro Shimono as lead character Kyoya, who also voiced roles such as Keima Katsuragi from The World God Only Knows and Daichi Muroto from this season’s Kotoura-San. The other four members of the club, Mao, Shion, Megumi, and Kirara, are voiced by voice actresses Maaya Uchida, Suzuko Mimori, Yume Miyamoto, and Chika Arakawa, respectively.

I really like that Crunchyroll is adding SO much stuff to their catalog, but I think starting with episode 7 is kinda ridiculous.

Nice to see your actively picking up shows.

Though personally, I found this show rather dull and stopped watching after the 3rd episode.

CR was late in obtaining this series, so you can't expect instant 7 episodes being subbed and up in two days after getting it. Not to mention messing up the sub-team's schedule for subbing other shows. There are like 8 simulcasts due for thursday if you haven't noticed.

Also episode 7 matches the simulcast being aired this week.

feel free to wait till episode 1-6 are subbed and are online afterwards to enjoy the series from the beginning.

That is exactly correct. We wanted to keep up with Japan, hence why we are starting with Episode 7. We will try and have the previous 6 episodes out as soon as we can.

lets see, that's 18 continuing shows, and 25 simulcasts and another 9 added to the catalog that makes a total of 52. I just don't know how I'm gonna keep up with all this.

I wonder why CR is staring a new simulcast more than half way through the season. This series hasn't gotten alot of requests like Little Busters did in Q4 2012. Don't think it's the best use of the funds CR has.

On GJ CLUB itself, from the description it seems to have a very similar premise to Student Council's Discretion, and that series is walks a fine line between "mediocre" and "average" in my opinion. Don't think this will be any better (or worse) but once episode 1 is released I"ll check it out.

I watched the first 2 or 3 episodes elsewhere and didn't care for it. However, I'm sure there'll be those who'll love it. It's nice to see CR is adding more shows, even ones I won't watch. More choices for CR's audience is always good and there are sure to be some among the additions I will want to see.

Okay....is anyone other than me thinking this show is almost EXACTLY like Ouran High-school Host club? Except the protagonist is a dude and the rest of the main characters are females instead of dudes this seems almost exactly like the show aforementioned. The "Club" situation, being forced to join it and so on. Also the "Being forced to go along with their antics" seems a lot like Ouran High-school host club to me. Don't get me wrong, i loved Ouran High-school Host club but....This just seems like a redo of that show with a gender difference.....!_!
