Don't think it's the best use of the funds CR has. Crunchyroll's mission is to get all the anime possible. This also isn't the first time CR has picked up an anime this late in the season (and I'm not referring to Little Busters!). There have been at least two prior examples in earlier seasons. Why? Episodes 1-6 are available. |

Yes, that's my real age.

Do not worry about missing "half the story"
GJ-bu HAS NO STORY. Half way through and we have no idea what the club is supposed to do, why the guy is in it, why these girls are members and until the last episode they spent almost every single second of the show in their one single club room talking to each other. You'll miss the history on the running gags and I guess the introduction of the little sisters in the last episode almost counted as an event but mostly you can dive right in. And don't worry about Ouran Host CLub similarities... OHC had a story, and some semblance of a back story for the characters. |

Except the protagonist is a dude and the rest of the main characters are females instead of dudes this seems almost exactly like the show aforementioned. The "Club" situation, being forced to join it and so on. Also the "Being forced to go along with their antics" seems a lot like Ouran High-school host club to me. Don't get me wrong, i loved Ouran High-school Host club but....This just seems like a redo of that show with a gender difference.....!_! I don't really understand why you thinking that it's like Ouran High School Host Club. Sure some one is force into a club with no one in it except for people of the opposite gender, but that's pretty much it. There is no super rich school or students, no genderbending, and no hosts. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, I just don't understand |

The choice is between simulcasting starting at episode 7 and catching episodes 1-6 up, or catching 1-6 up, by then they are catching 7 and 8 up, and starting to simulcast at 9. So why do they always do it this way (they did Giant Killing the same way, the season was MORE than six episode in, it took 3 weeks to catch up) ... because of the following: mike3391 wrote: im already watching this on other website but if crunchyroll gets it im gonna watch it here with better subs... For those who don't watch series on bootleg sites, they can catch up with episode 1-6 as they roll out, and then episodes 7 (and probably 8) already up, and for those watching series on bootleg sites, they can switch right away. Also, this way they don't have to estimate when it will get caught up to announced when it will start simulcasting, they can just slot it into the regular simulcast schedule as they go ahead and catch up the first episodes as fast as possible. |

I too was watching this on another shall we say "less than legitimate site". So glad I can start watching it here now instead. Should look much better.
And no it's not like Ouran High School host club. At least not to me. And yeah the episodes are straight up comedic and pretty self contained, so it shouldn't matter if you haven't watched the first 6 eps first. So no worries. |

Crunchyroll certainly knows its audience.
There is, despite most anime being simulcast these days, a large fansub scene, so people can and do watch shows that miss being licensed. So picking up at the current episodes lets people who have been watching all along continue, through legal means, and only delays people who don't watch fansubs a week or three. Best of both worlds IMO. |

yeah, another one I don't need torrents for anymore.
Nice job CR. |

Thanks again CrunchyRoll! I look forward to the day when every show is simulcast here in a one stop location for anime. I support and applaud your mission to license any and all anime no matter what it is and no matter how long it takes. Bravo! Tastes vary so every show is going to be watched by some people. Keep up the good work!
