Melodic Death Metal. The thrash comes from the guitars. Bodom's music is practicly overflowing with Thrash riffing.
And Iron Maiden it does not resemble even in the slightest. Have you heard the post-HCD albums?

Also, to claim that they are legitimately garbage that no one should be listening to is insanely arrogant.
I am not a fan, by the way. Just sayin'.

That song could've been awesome, had it had a rythm guitar track.

Rammstein are Industrial Metal not Death. Death metal uses deep growling vocals, heavily distorted tremolo picked guitars, and double kick drumming.
They are however a shit hot band and put on one of the best shows in metal.

Rammstein is disgusting live. Nobody can be as kickass as they can. I would give plasma just to see them play.

I am into everything Death metal. As long as there's power and just musically perfect, I am all over that band. I have not been to a show for almost a year. If only I knew the music scene here in Ohio. I was all over it back in NYC.

Rammstein have nothing to do with industrial OR metal...

Infact very little metal truly has any relation to industrial music at all

Godflesh and P.H.O.B.O.S. are the only two that come immediately to mind

Really? Do you have a source or is this (like most discusions on genre) an opinion. Rammstein may not be a perfect fit but like it or not, most metal sites categorise them as industrial metal. Besides, its way easier to say than Neue Deutsche Härte.

An opinion. I am pretty sure Rammstein can easily fall in the Industrial metal category whether or not the world puts 2 and 2 together. Mort, look up Nanochrist or Dope. Rammstein is not industrial OR metal? Ouch..

Death, Cannibal Corpse, Entombed, and Anata are some of the Death Metal bands I'm into.

(I mostly lean towards Grindcore, personally.)

It pleases me to see all the Cannibal support.

My favorite death metal band for live performances is Origin. Seen em twice. Would see em again.

Not a "huge" fan, but I like Death, Cannibal Corpse, Entombed, Obituary, Dying Fetus, Decapitated (if I remember, they lost their vocalist in 2008--poor guy), Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation (all thanks to one of my fav Soulfly songs called "World Scum), Dethklok (I love Nathan, man. Funny guy).

My favorite Death Metal band is probably Opeth. I love the groove in songs like Ghost of Perdition and Baying of the Hounds. Also, the singer has the voice of a growler and a typical singer, his voice is AMAZING.

As much as I like Death Medal, I also enjoy its many sub-genres such as Deathcore, where the majority of my favorites lie.

Many of which I have seen Live (and met in person.)
Some of the bands I have seen live include

Whitechapel
Suicide Silence (R.I.P. Mitch Lucker )
Amon Amarth
Cannibal Corpse
The Black Dahlia Murder
etc.
