The app works fine on my 50" 2012 ST-50 Panasonic plasma. I wish there were more documentation, there is no good guide as to the controls.

The Panny website says only 2011 and newer TVs are compatible with the CR app.

Just noticed this week.
The app is a tad buggy in terms of ui. Picture is great, sound has lagged behind a bit a few times. But these problems are small.
What is a huge problem for me? Seems to like buffering every 30 seconds for about the same amount of time. Seems to like to start doing this during the op sequences (as in it'll get in 1+ minutes before it starts acting up). Then it's just pain.

The buffring issues is same problem for me as well and I don't get it my bandwidth should be enough with 5mb per sec.My quess it has to do with the app and I hope it will be fixed. I can stream fine any other hd content but chrunyroll is giving me a hard time to play hd content over my tv. Best one until now was the roku app but without hd it is a bummer too.Anyway I hope it will be fixed and not be forgotten like the roku app.

It took some time, but the Crunchyroll app has been offered on my Panasonic DMP-BDT220 Blu-Ray player. It works fine. Great picture in 1080P.
It would be much better if you did not need to be a premium member to watch shows which regular members are able to watch for free on the website even if in SD mode.
