Republicans nowadays tend to be mostly spineless and harmless(otherwise they would have defunded Obamacare not just vote to overturn it in the House). Democrats tend to think the answer to everything is yet another government program where they (mis)spend taxpayer money on projects that fail in the real world. i.e. it takes more energy to create biofuels than what you get in the end.

BTW, I'm surprised there are some who checked Republican. I figured it would be mostly Democrats and liberal leaning independents.

Anime is enjoyed by all sorts of people. Even us on the right side of the spectrum. Please don't stereotype!

Considering that most the republican party has gone off the deep end hating everyone who is NOT a white christian male, I can see why AniMatsuri wrote that.

To the person who said Libertarian because the other two parties are greedy, LOL. The greediest wing of the republican party IS the Libertarian faction. Laissez-faire is the embodiment of Libertarianism, and as such the republicans embrace it so that the wealthiest can rule over us all without intervention from the government.

The republican and democratic parties are both broken, one much worse, but both are broken bad enough to where WE THE PEOPLE no longer count!

I hate all political subjects and will never vote, honestly.

I don't care that "it's my right."

Now there's a stereotype if I ever saw one. You totally misunderstood what I posted. The republicans now days are more democrat-lite than what you describe.

Don't call me ignorant. Politicians are just people who don't like the way things are, who want things to be their way. More often or not, they're the ignorant ones.

I'm done now.

Too long so hid with spoiler

Republicans are democrat-lite? LOL

If I typed the examples of what ELECTED republicans have said publically, I would get (rightfully) banned due to the inherit hatred of the vile they spew

If you know what they are, why are you so willing to let them run roughshod over you then? You think they are just clowns who do and say things that have no effect on your life?

Neat trick there. I'll have to remember it.

No need to type examples if they are that vile. Post a few links or if they are that "hateful" you can PM them to me since I suspect they either aren't that bad or taken out of context.

Not exactly Libertarian, but I'll round up and say I am. haha.

They're as close as I'm going to get being an Anarcho-Capitalist.

I follow the new's and research my own conclusions very carefully. Both red and blue are destroying the country in the name of big bankers, Monsanto and to spread "peace" I'm active in waking up friends to gmo's, scandals, and need to know info. But honestly not happy with our government at all.

I used to be a party line voter then as time has gone on I have become more and more disillusioned with the constant bickering and nonsense I keep seeing on a day in day out basis. I guess at this point I just vote for whoever annoys me the least since I really don't hold out any hope anymore that anyone who gets elected will actually do anything productive anymore.

Actually, I like the constant bickering and gridlock. If we had more of that, maybe we wouldn't be stuck with Obamacare right now.

In my mind when I hear bi-partisan that usually means both sides are plotting against the people who voted them in.

You are ignorant. You don't vote, so therefore you don't matter. Get used to it.
