Actually I do have to sign in to the app.
And from my POV it's provided by Crunchyroll themselves.

Unless everyone is using a different version from this one, or I'm thinking of a completely different "LG" brand name. or Different breed of smart TV.

I thought you were referring to the app for LG's own OS for Smart TVs and other video devices:
http://us.lgappstv.com/appspc/store/product/retrieveCategoryList.lge?dummy=003
(Unfortunately, their website won't let me provide a direct link to the CR app, but you should see it on that page, at the bottom row. If not, entering "Crunchyroll" in the search box would bring it up).

Given that you are posting under "Flingo Devices - Vizio / WD / LG", I think you can understand why I was thinking you were using the Flingo app.

The Google TV app isn't specific to LG. Support for it would come under the Android section of the Help forum. The last I saw reported, it was next in line for an update after they finished the OUYA app.

Ah, Alright then that clears up a lot of confusion for me. Still find it to be weird how these TV apps have little support. Especially because they're suppose to provide content to showcase these ultra high performance displays.
I can only wonder how awful it will be once Smart 4K TVs are released.

I note that model has a full web browser. Have you checked to see if it supports Flash? If so, while it wouldn't be as elegant as an app, you could at least view CR with it.

CR doesn't have its own native app for the LG smart TVs. The one present there is a third party app by Flingo, which doesn't support login. On my WD TV Live, I believe it is listed as "Launchpad" (so it may be called something similar on your LG), and CR is one of the pre-installed apps.

It does not support flash, I also would enjoy a CR native app for LG TV. Or at least the ability to bluetooth share it from mobile devices like what you can do now through youtube. Cheers.

Easiest solution would be getting a Chromecast.
