Why are there so few mystery anime? I can only think of 10-15 popular ones. I have over like 50 computer/video games that are mystery genre but for anime there are so few. By the way which mystery anime do you like most? discuss please

well in my opinion blood plus has quite a lot of mystery into it which gets revealed slowly as the anime progresses  love the suspense and mystery part in it ^-^ plus action too |

there are actually quite a few that includes mystery, but depending on how in depth/focused on that genre you want, your options are pretty limited :/

Three that come to mind are:
Hyouka,
Kami-sama no Memochou,
and... oh, Denpa Teki na Kanojo. This one is heavy. It only has 2 OVAs, but they definitely left a mark in my mind.
