so i got a roku and realized that it was plating videos about 1.2X faster than on the internet or on the ps3 down stares.
while on those two average episode is about 24 mins on roku its about 17-21 mins and you can tell the difference in playback. any idea why or im i just gana need to deal with it?

Hmm I am not totally sure what could be the cause here and hopefully one of our support staff will be able to check this out and give some additional intel.... In the meantime though I would also consider contacting roku for some tech support if you haven't already.

just did thanks. realized it is doing the same thing on netflix as well, but not pandora.

Hmm, could be quite a few things at the root of it. Especially if it seems to effect specific video services only. I hope Roku was about to offer you some support here! In my experience their tech support is normally not bad.
