Honestly, now I'm sorry I did that. A mini-protest is NOT the way to go about such things. Use the mod reports. Explain why a post or thread should be deleted - we will listen! I ONLY removed them all because so many came through. Just because you and others created more of it, without useful reports and to clog up the forum as a protest, that doesn't make it right. Not a good approach.

You guys ever thought of livestreaming FFIV with the crunchyroll brand.

Not sure about FF4, but I am up for streaming 14 when I get my computer back online. I didn't do it before because I had slow Internet, and because I thought it would be kinda weird with none of us talking. Now that we have a few more of us at 50, it sounds like a pretty good idea. Then you can all laugh at me being bad.

I figured there was some kind of conspiracy or something going on after the 3rd one I saw, lol.
But yeah, I think the 1st thread reported was the AoT one, but the report was soon cleared, lol, so I guess it was decided that the thread was ok.

Anybody else find it funny how we just had 7 threads in the anime sub-forum asking about "how one is going to deal with life now that the last episode of such and such anime is over?" I mean, seriously, 7? XD

I hope they don't take my mod badge away for saying this, but yes, I was amused.

Roman numerals aren't really my forte. "WAS_TRYING_TO_BE_FANCY_LAWL"

Kind of curious to how regularly the mods here party.
(Dungeon parties don't count just because they just don't; unless of course such parties actually has an actual dungeon and actual party, so then yeah, they do count.)

I think it was reported more than once. But it was cleared with no explanation as to why it wasn't a duplicate or why it was a good discussion thread.

Anyway, enough said about that. It's time to relax and finish up some shows.

To touch on this briefly - we get a lot of reports, and often discuss them with each other in response, because we don't like shutting down conversations without good reasons. However, to avoid multiple moderators working on (and potentially messaging) the same person over and over, we will often clear the report as soon as we start working on it so that it's clear to the others that it's taken. I personally do this by opening multiple tabs in my browser so I can keep open the original report (by that point cleared), the item being reported, and several other things.

Just because a post is reported, then the report disappears, that doesn't mean the action behind the scenes is over.

Fair enough, but we waited over 6 hours between the reporting and what we finally resorted to. The only thing we saw was that the thread was cleared and no action was taken. And it didn't look like any action would be taken. Back when SAO was generating a silly number of threads, this became a sore point for many of us. And, in this instance, I guess we were too enthusiastic in making our point.

Most of us respect the mods and the hard work you guys do. I know I do. I've been a mod in many forums. But without good communication, the regular denizens are left wondering what's going on. And that's what happened in this case. So, my apologies for what happened, but I hope you understand our point of view.

^ This made me laugh for a good minute or two.

Anyway, party? I think I've grown outta that as I've gotten older. High school and uni were my partying phase. Now, I just prefer doing homebody stuff, hanging out with in an intimate group with people--casually drinking and socializing than full on crazy house parties (I'm assuming this is what you mean by parties).
