AHTL is one of the older models *cough*

Besides why sleep? That cuts into our training regimen that we go through so we are prepared for modding. The training basically consists of fighting 147 waves of zombies with potential facehugger allies armed only with witty dialog and a rusty spoon. We used to have a fork as well but there were budget cuts.

That's only what Kark fights.

I fight bacon wrapped hot dogs purchased from a street vendor at 2 AM.

The others don't. I am the only sleeping mod. It's one of my special powers as well. I am quite known for my love for sleep as well. In fact, I am about to go take a nap, since you reminded me.

I don't know beardfist. Have you ever eaten a bacon wrapped hot dog from a street vendor at 2am? The battle doesn't actually start until 6-7am the next morning and I can promise you it is explosive.

I have yet to find a street vendor who will sell me a bacon wrapped hot dog at any time, much less 2am. I have also never eaten a hotdog, bacon wrapped or otherwise, that hurts my stomach.

In New York they will pretty much put anything you can find on a hot dog if you pay them enough. In all seriousness I wouldn't be surprised if you could find someone selling them off a cart there at 2 am either.

This is why I brought up the current PG-13 rulings and site attitude into question. It seems that I got some posts of mine deleted despite following the actual guidelines to the tee- all the crunchyroll site's rules, the term of service (yes, I read all that), the FAQs, and the thread's rules. I can understand why one would be questionable, but both followed the strict parameters set forth by the actual rules and not just some rationale like what I presented a little of a day back.

In the four, almost five, years that I've been here, this is the most I've been reported and maybe feel penalized on the forums, and I was way worse in the past; and this was within the same rulings and TOS. I believe that none of you guys have it out for me nor should I feel that something be owed to me, but consider that after all this time that I haven't been banned and am not harassing/flaming/trolling users, scarcely reported. If anything, I'm on the other side of that spectrum with a kind of outstanding account. It is kind off turning that I somehow look like the bad guy when I've been avoiding on stepping on somebody's toes in the way of my fun in the forums.

I don't want to get banned or feel that I'm getting to near to that line, and I want to keep it that way like how I've been doing in the past couple of years.

Well, I just want to air that grievance out. Please don't look down on this post as some kind of arrogance or complaining from just a user as I'm presenting this so as a person/customer who actually follows the site's rules those past couple of years.

While I don't know the content of all the posts that vanished in the night for you, I don't think you should draw yourself as a holier-than-thou person. Yes, nobody is out to get you. Yes, you don't have a record of breaking the rules.

But posting things such as this is not okay:

7. Please be respectful of other users.

Calling someone a "faggot" is not being respectful towards other users.
If this was intended as humour, I'd recommend not posting it on the forums.

Looking at the logs, it seems several of the posts deleted in the AMP thread had contained images that were derogatory against the LGBT community or contained images of masturbation or implications of such. This means that someone got upset with what was posted and reported it, consequently a moderator decided to deal with it by deleting the posts.

I guess. Though, it wasn't directly pointed or quoted to anyone, like how one would use the word "you're motherfucker* in picture jokes in say like other captioning arenas. Those and those permutations I've used oh so much. It is a bad word but not directly pointed to anyone but as an internet joke. Also, I assumed that there is some sort of at least leniency on speech.

I went with this:

Swearing is only allowed if the swear word does not directly insult any users. This will be dealt in a case by case basis.

I guess this was the "case by case basis". I guess that I'll have to be extra extra careful from now on.

otherwise objectionable in the opinion of Crunchyroll

I'll just put that word in the "not" list on crunchyroll from now on. Though, I've used so much, even in worse cases, in the past without complaint, but if someone is complaining, then I would just have to comply because I can't do anything about it.

I think that I'll just take a break from this place and regroup some of my ideas. Thanks for at least making some of that clear. I appreciate it.

Holier-than-thou person? You know I'm not. I just try to play around closely on the lines of the sand here. "LAWL"

Hey mods. Does the thumbs up/down button attached to posts send a notification? If not, what is the point of them on the forums? I'm not refuring to anime show comments.

Or maybe they're not even thumbs... @_@ Realy confused over this...

ExplorerOak, from all of my time here. I have never seen one post with a clearification about "this is how many agree with you" and "this is how many disagree with you" for one post. The Thumbs up/ down button technically do not work, for the threads. If they did work, there would be a clarification about the amount of users who agree with you. Also, there would be a "top comment" system in place, which there is neither. Those buttons stand, as of right now. Just another means of "reporting" or simple decoration for the post. But, for the offical reason, just check out number 14 in this thread
