Farfetch'd, huh? Do u play any of the (Pokemon) games? I've only played the Yellow version ages ago, and never did catch them all. @_@ But I think I did get a Mewtwo, lol.

I captured a shiny Ditto 5 minutes ago and am about to start power breeding to get shiny honedge using the Matsuda method. I plan to ev train it for attack and maybe speed.... or special defense. Not sure yet. If anyone is interested i also have a stable of trade-able pokemon all infected with pokerus.

How about dem mangas?

I change my mind about dressing up as C-H with a pumpkin head... I'll dress up as a manga book.

II'm excited about the manga! I might just spend all Halloween reading it and not dress up as anything.

I'm afraid I'm gonna need more proof like an actual video of u playing the game. Plus, in the video, u will need to state your CR name as well as visibly showing me your receipt for the game and the credit card u used to purchase the game. If u didn't use a credit card, show it to me anyway for uhh... verification purposes... Yup.

I can link you video's of me playing other games if this makes you feel better. Since I bought it on the eshop you aren't getting a receipt, much less my cc numbers

I apologize. In no way did I intend to offend anyone who uses vegetables as weapons, especially one of the Pokemon variety.

But that's just wrong. Everyone knows that you should be using fruit...

It's not really my place to argue the merits of using certain foods as weapons. ヽ(。_°)ノ

Hi, boys and girls! I hope you all are aware that Halloween (the commercialized form) has never really been celebrated in Japan until quite recently! It's really amazing to see more and more westernized Halloween visuals coming from there such as jack o' lanterns and ghouls and ghosts~

Our dear Haruhi and friends clearly demonstrate their limited knowledge of a popular tradition that had its origins in Europe and then spread westward to North America! Now, it's taking hold of the world!

(Thanks Lorreen for pointing this video out!)

Funny how much westernization has it's own spin there. Look at Christmas...

It's interesting, and yet, at the same time sad on how traditions seem so far removed from their original intended meaning!

SO! I think it is time for a "what I am a watchin!" this season type post since we have had plenty of time for the new shows to give us what they got.... So without further ado this is what I Karkymon am watching this season!

Samurai Flamenco:
Surprise hit of the season for me and my favorite new show! It is funny, sometimes serious, and has a great cast. It even trolls the power rangers in it's most recent episode, what more could you want?

Hajime no Ippo the Rising: It is Hajime no Ippo, nuff said!!!! Last couple episodes have been especially good.

Log Horizon: No, it is not a Sword Art Online clone that is actually a romance pretending to be an action show about people trapped in a game. This one is actually about people trapped in a game and pays more than lip service to the fact that it is a MMO they are stuck in. While the main character is a bit more jazzed up than he really should be he is also not a Mary Sue like Kirito.

Kill la Kill:
Don't really need to sell this one either, everyone seems to be drooling all over it.

Miss Monochrome:
It is short, it is funny, this is good so I watch!

Shows I have DROPPED like a bad habit!!!

Diablok Lovers: ugh..... ughhghghghghhgh..... *tosses this show to his Garbodor pokemon*

Strike the Blood: See my comments on Diabolik Lovers.

Wanna be the Strongest: I like fanservice as much as the next guy (no not really) but unless you are looking for something to laugh at when you are supremely bored stay away.

Walkure Romanze: It is an H game anime... need I say more? At least it won't end like School Days.

Shows I want to watch but haven't found time for yet and probably will see during the next dry season...

Gingitsune: It looks cute enough and seems like it might be okay. Baker likes it so that's a plus!

Golden Time: It "might" be okay. I think it is worth at least giving a look to later when I am not busy.

Kuroku's no Basket: I have always wanted to watch this but just never taken the time, may check it out sooner rather than later.

Okay, i have a question for the mods, if they know that is. The differences in script translations of shows always seems to be a big deal, be it names, phrases or whatnot. I was wondering exactly how CR goes about translating their shows. Do they get "official" scripts from the source, do they get a basic outline of just names, places, etc and work out the rest themselves, or is it done entirely in-house with the raws they're given? And is it the same for every show, or do some get official scripts while others are done from scratch?

Some shows are done directly by the publisher (Naruto is an example of this.)
Otherwise we are given copies of the script and master files to work off of.

Script is pretty straight forward, it's a text copy of the show.
Master Files tend to include names of Characters, Places, etc that the Publisher wants us to use.
