I'm sure all of you are huge anime fans, so... do any of you speak the Japanese language, or plan to learn in the future? にほんごを はなしますか。 I studied japanese for a few years, but, i haven't really been able to put it to much use in daily life unfortunately :( 私は日本語がちょっと分かるよ。きっと少しずつ私は練習でよくなるでしょう。 I'm really, really out of practice with my japanese, so my humble apologies for any mistakes xD 本当にごめんなさい! |

So, why was sethlord banned? Was he banned because he was questioning the authority of a mod?

-Vega- wrote: So, why was sethlord banned? Was he banned because he was questioning the authority of a mod? Well more than likely what happened was Sethlord did something that was against the rules or inappropriate in a thread, a mod warned Seth, and then Seth did it again anyway. Probably repeatedly. It wouldn't be the first time. If "question the authority of a moderator" was all it took to get a ban Sethlord would have been lifetime banned well over a month ago. |

lol, object fail, i remember using something similar back in the day, except it was much simpler. like, スキーなんて久しぶり, which would have meant i haven't skied in a long time, per this example (http://japanese.about.com/blpod020101.htm). i was ending the sentence in an interjection xD what I meant by 放せなくてなんて久しぶり was basically that i haven't spoken (japanese) in a long time.
and using もう少しで is basically like using ほとんど or ほぼ, as in almost. I meant to say that "Nowadays, I've forgotten almost all kanji." lol, really, really bad japanese there on my part. xD |

どういたしまして! AFAIK, there are no kanji that look like kana. There's a subtle difference... here's the hiragana く and katakana ク. if you look closely, the kanji for 久しぶり has an extra stroke. i think you're just confusing the katakana for ク with the kanji for 久しぶり which is 久.
Here's a site that shows you the different ways that radical can be used: Kanji for 久。 |
