Ramza Beoulve and Fei Fong Wong. I really looked up to video game characters lol. I also really looked up to Neil Gaiman. Still do to this very day. The graphic novels that he wrote (Sandman and Books of Magic) really sparked my imagination (especially Sandman). C.S. Lewis also, I remember spending countless hours pouring over the entire Narnia Series. I don't remember much of it now, but it definitely made me love stories filled with magic and adventure.

I think if a Mod deletes or edits a users post, you should at least let them know (PM or add a sentence to the edited post). I now realize I over-posted in the Anime Images thread and one of the GIF threads, my bad, but it would have been nice to have gotten a quick note on the matter.

Not trying to make work for anyone and I realize I was in the wrong. Only asking for a quick note so I know not to do it again. Apologies for the multiple posts/images.

Thanks.

After I read your following post, I went to go and check your posts a bit in the picture's forum. It turns out you're a huge picture spammer. Forget double posting, you post 4-7 times in a row.

I'll be spending the next few minutes deleting your posts and will send you an official warning via PM. Please stop and take the time to read the rules.

Also as a heads up... not sure how you didn't see it but I straight up posted in the thread that the rules would be enforced from now on and double posting was against the rules. Just saying.

It seems he did.

I'm also going to delete all your posts in that thread since posting after yourself for 5 pages in a row isn't allowed.

Actually, I have a small proposal -- can there be some leeway on double posting in cases which the posts are superbly lengthy. I've seen openings posts which are extremely lengthy and becomes a clutter for the OP to clean or edit due to the double posting rule. For example, my seasonal show index thread is quite a hassle to edit and clean each time a new season begins. If I had a second post (of my own) under it to organize my information, it would be much easier to access. Due to the double posting rule, I refrained from doing so and ended up having to post the archive of past threads into a separate post which is lost somewhere in the thread. It's a bit too late for that thread (unless I decide to give up the duty to another user) but this is for future reference.

In addition to Hairbelly's suggestion (I was going to bring this up yesterday but didn't), I believe it might be better to take the time to edit a person's post and leaving a note rather than to delete it. Of course, the only exception for this is when the poster continually breaks the rule, ignores warnings, or is outright spamming. The benefits of this is that it warns everyone and provides an example of what behaviors not to exhibit. The course of action I'm asking for will be provide in the following spoiler:

Just as an aside not all posts are handled the same way. You would be surprised how often we do simply edit a post versus deleting it. Ask Chrome Mist if you don't believe me. You will support my words won't you Chrome-Chan?

Also bear in mind sometimes we have to make literally a dozen or more edits/deletes to a thread at a time. Often when we do so we are only even doing it for one or two reasons. If, for example, I edit 7 different posts for quote pyramids it is silly to make a post and name of all the users and mention them one by one. You know if you posted with a quote pyramid, you will see your post and know it was edited. It is easier to just make one post and say "Hey guys, quote pyramids are against the rules! Try to put those things in spoilers!".

Wow, that was harsh.. Got it.

Oh, no, I don't mean to create a post listing out each rule breakers but to edit each individual post unless there is a vast amount of it; in that case, it would be more efficient and smarter to both delete the posts and write a warning in a separate post. But, for other rule breaking posts, i.e. 3 images instead of 2, I think it would fare better to edit the post by removing the extra picture and leaving a note inside that post about what was done.

Perhaps it might be best if I do a better example:

I hope this is more clear.

You just want me to look bad in front of other people, don't you?

But hey. I support your statement.
It's the truest thing you've said in a long while.
It should be a Guiness Record for most truthful statement said by a moderator, tbh.

Now I shall wait for your n00dz.

space tauren edited the school days posts, which kinda killed the whole thing (no blames though). i'm more enticed the entire post be pm'd to the user and deleted. Would be easier for the poster to edit his or her post if it is lengthy.

It was pretty funny if I do say so myself.

Fair enough, but here is the thing once more. I go into a thread due to a mod report in all honesty I typically have to mod a lot more than one post by the time I am done. There might have been five different users who posted 3 images. It is just a ton faster and easier to do the edits then make a post about why edits happened in the thread, rather than write out "don't post more than 2 images" in five different posts.

Wouldn't it be easier and faster to just delete the offending posts, leave a note on the thread on why the deletion with the offender's(s') names, and then send a PM to the offender(s) to their offense. I would've liked something like this when some of my posts were deleted.

I don't know how exactly you do it. I see different mods have different styles, but from what I've talked about to some users, they don't mind this kind of transparency.

(EDIT- I knew that you guys only come out when somebody snitches. "LAWL")
