Well i looked into this on other topics and found one, but it was locked and really had no information what so every for me to learn into. So i hope this topic can stay open :D

Anyways i am a huge procrastinator when it comes to school. On top of that i have found no positive way to study or even help me when trying to memorize things with school. I've even tried to find a way to incorporate anime into my studying to find a way to make studying fun and easy for me to memorize things. High school didn't give me any tips when it came to studying in college.

I'm the type of person who just can't read a book and learn that way. When i read all it does is put me to sleep and i end up not learning a dang thing. On top of that i work which cuts into my studying time. When i'm not working or going to school i love to spend my free time watching anime since who needs friends hah. I have all my fellow anime watchers on here to talk to.

I was wondering if anybody had any good ways that they use to help them study or memorize things. Memorizing has always been a big issue with me like trying to memorize the parts of the brain, vocabulary words of things like that. If anyone has a fun way of doing so that works for them, I would love to try them out. All of this is stressing me out cause i really would not like to fail my college classes. So if anybody could help me out i would be so indebted to you and love you forever. Thank you

Try doing all your reading and studying while holding a pencil. Occasionally write notes and draw pictures of the things you're studying. Also, try learning things using different kinds of memory.

If you can visually represent the concepts that you are learning by scribbling out a chart where concept A is connected to concept B with an arrow, then you have incorporated visual and spatial memory into your learning.

Learn things with muscle and auditory memory by making hand gestures that (in your mind) describe the concept you are learning, while you are explaining it to yourself out loud. People talk with their hands all the time, and when you do this you can repeat the hand gestures during your exam and it should stimulate your memory.

Use mnemonic devices. Dirty jokes are especially easy to remember. To memorize the names of the cranial nerves for anatomy classes, a common mnemonic device is: Oh, oh oh, to touch and feel very good vaginas, absolute heaven. To memorize the functions of the cranial nerves (sensory, motor, or both), a common mnemonic device is: Some say marry money but my brother says big boobs matter most.

I have a lot of hobbies, but anime and drinking are the only ones I have been able to multitask with studying, so are the only two that really survived my undergraduate work.
