You can fully customize your mech, it's free to play (not pay to win at ALL), and overall is a really good time. I used to love Counter-Strike: Source, but this game has finally replaced the feelings CS:S gave me. Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/19/13, edited 3/19/13 Hawken is more of an arena shooter akin to CoD or Unreal Tournament, i.e. there will never be Deathmatch modes in MWO as are in Hawken. The closest thing is Assault, DM with one life and a base to capture for each of currently two teams. MWO is more of a tactical shooter akin to CS:S, with the occasional short-lived Rambo players who try to run'n'gun. I honestly prefer MWO, it's game-play, user-base, and the well established BattleTech universe. Many giant corporations still exist, some mechs are produced by former automobile manufacturers like Ford and Toyota, and Pepsi is still selling drinks. Military contracts and mech development therein lead to nearly constant conflict for profit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BattleTech MWO will be holding galactic warfare this year, where players fight for House control. 12 v 12 is sooner on the horizon, and they are also close to adding a mode where you can have 4 mechs per fight, each being dropped in after you die.
