I'm shocked and outraged. I saw that article earlier and I was really upset about hearing that.
What was the reason they're quitting? Are they catching up on the manga too quickly or something? It's super-successful and it makes me sad that it's going down the same path as anime like D. Gray Man.

anime has almost cought up to the manga i do hope that the series come back too but i wouldnt want all fillers like what bleach did. hopefully starts up again when Funi has cought up to the series

They did say there was some good news, but I imagine that they don't want to verbally commit to a continuation but I do see it continuing once we get some day light between the manga and where the anime will stop.
This is still a surprise to me as I wanted to see the latest manga animated.

Fairy Tail should had ended in the arc where they were attacked by the black dragon. IMO

Not sure if it's true, but 'an unidentifiable magazine' is not the most reliable source of information. It could be true or it could be mistaken information, who knows? I do know that the anime is catching up to the manga so that would be the main reason it ends, not low sales/ratings. If it ends it will be back once the manga has more breathing room. I mean, Gintama 'ended' around 3-4 times but it always comes back...with something as popular as Fairy Tail, I'm positive they would continue to animate the series once they have more room.
Either way, I'll wait for an official announcement before confirming it.

or either crossover project with rave master anime or better yet bring back rave master anime i know the rave anime is still INCOMPLETE to watch.

With where they are in the anime and the few manga spoilers I got to hear from my friend (well we're not friends anymore), I had a feeling they would end it soon. But I thought it would go to 200 episodes like Reborn!
