Best Anime Duo's
|
What are your top anime duo's? Partner's, Couple's, Rival's,Companions, Friends etc. Do they make every second their on screen hilarious, is it their chemistry that makes them so great, or do they just have such a well connected relationship?
My top duo's would be: Lawrence and Holo from Spice and Wolf The banter between these two it easily the highlight of the show, you can't help but get caught up with them. and.... Isaac and Miria from Baccano! Have you watched Baccano!? If so you understand, every moment with these two is pure comedic gold. |

For me, I would say without a doubt that it is Vash and Wolfwood from Trigun.
A pacifistic wanted criminal who wanders the world saving people and preaching "love and peace," and a traveling priest with an arsenal of weapons who is not afraid to kill. Despite their conflicting personalities (or rather because of them), these two mesh well together in everything they do; whether it be back-to-back in battle, arguing over petty things, or fighting for the last meatball at dinnertime. |

![]() Even though these two don't always agree, the on-court communication is great between the assist master and the dunking pro. |

Well, for me, the choice is pretty obvious, I'd have to go with Koyomi and Hitagi from Bakemonogatari. I don't think I've ever loved the chemistry of two characters more than them. Their personalities, the way they talked to each other, everything just worked flawlessly.
Episode 12 of the series basically cemented that fact, it was absolutely beautiful. In response to the original post, I started Spice and Wolf quite a long time ago, but only got a few episodes in. I liked it, too, not sure why I stopped. I should probably get back to that. |

I definitely agree with this pairing! There are a few more I enjoy such as Ryuuji and Taiga from Toradora, Misaki and Usui from Maid-sama [definitely second top fave] and to get mainstream Ichigo and Rukia from Bleach. |

Nana O and Nana K
Sebastian and Ciel More recently, Kuroko and Kagami And, much as I do like Naruto and Sasuke as rivals, I liked even more the relationship between Naruto and Jiraiya. (Naruto used to be interesting) |

There are seriously wayyy too many to name! They're all special in their own way. But just pulling from a series I recently watched (and loved) I would go with Usui and whatever the other girls name is from Maid-sama!

If she was present more in Nisemonogatari I would've enjoyed the two more, but they are still one of my favorite couples. Just didn't want to put two romantic pairs in my post I'd highly recommend continuing with Spice and Wolf, one of my favorite shows. It's rare to find a pair that works so well. |
