I know i enjoy Athletic, Thin and slender women. i'm not a fan of more heavy or "thick" women. But again beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so i mean, really it's hard to say all guys like one type of female. It's like saying all women like muscled men, it's not true, it's merely a preference.

Being skinny and attractive is nice but there is a limit for me, i'd like someone who does not outweigh me and im pretty short at 5'6 weighing 130 lbs. I can't say i agree with the song called i like big butts.

If you're old enough to know who Kate Moss is no normal men don't like that skinny of girls. To each their own though. You can't fault a man for what he finds attractive.

Some do, some don't. I just like everything to be in proportion. No huge, exploded asses. No toothpick waifs either. But, to each his own. It takes all kinds.

What is wrong with this forum?

Nothing at all obviously.

It seems like all these people want to do is assign gender roles and customs, and superficially judge people.

The persons personality dominates there overall appearance.
To answer your question ask yourself this:

Would you rather be with an attractive person who you have no similarities with,
Or just someone who's like you that shares the same interest?

Oh wow, you found an unflattering picture of her during her performance. Still doesn't change the fact that she is beautiful.

He found an unflattering pic? I thought it was just some photoshopped joke!
Are you telling me its really an unflattering picture of HER during HER performance?!

Forget that crap, thats like seeing a girl when she wakes up in the morning. The lies are gone, and truth can be frighteningly ugly!

its prefered because of some trend back in the day that continued till now. it was a skinny girl was to be looked at as more lustful than a healthier girl.....sometimes when I look at a skinny woman/girl whatever... can't get it out of my head but to sometimes think of them as sickly (in any circumstance I would be considered to be judging and putting a flaw on someone). but I told my self I should not do that and better off to consider what the other parties feelings of me could be. I could even break it down to what origin they are from. because in some cultures, women are just designed that way naturally as opposed to other places in the world.... If I had to look a woman/girl and start judging them because of their appearence to be skinny (or fat or what have you)... I am already putting a condition on someone (and it could be someone I havent met or may never meet because I am just passing by). that would be uncalled for or un nessecary in any case.... I think it is because of trend.. every young adult male will follow towards the "skinny" girl because thats what society and trend teach us to do from little kids. of course the skinny girl is attractive.... but looking it at that point of view... if I were to just find a skinny girl to be with..... then deep down inside I am really just looking for a trophy to show my friends and the rest of society. so do I think skinny girls/women are attractive? yes! just as attractive as any other girl! if I am looking at this as towards more of a relationship stand point... I have already pointed out a flaw and put a condition on the other party... and maybe expecting too much... as I should be looking at my self more.... wow this is what I get from doing assessments all day! just thinking about this.. I have to say its mre about the personality....

Appearance is a good indication of personality. Looking 'healthy' is a good sign that the person is somewhat driven to take care of themselves, is probably not horribly depressed.

This is important for many people. I would like to find a companion, not emotional baggage.

Tell that to people with metabolic disorders & chemical imbalances. There still aren't any cures for some of them. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Oh please put the load of crap somewhere else. For every legit 'blah blah imbalance' excuse, there are about 1000 people that are either lazy bastards, cant control their appetite out of their own mental weakness, that dont take care of themselves, or dont realise McDonald's is bad for you.
