Do guys like skinny girls?

If I was male, (or homosexual,) I'd want my woman curvy. Maybe some pleasantly plump features.

This, to me, is the epitome of a beautiful woman. http://www.ted.com/talks/amanda_palmer_the_art_of_asking.html That kind of thing makes you so incredibly cute. My very first girlfriend when I was a teenager said stuff like that. Now that I think about it, she was a thickly delicious Phllipina. So they do exist. |

Meh, I don't have to worry about that half of the time. Here in Nigeria, most men like their women plump or fat. It's pretty weird for me to be considered attractive here. Since when I go back to US, it's all your fat ( even if I'm not that fat in the first place ) and it's horrible. Funny because my teacher told me once, models and athletes who exercise a lot have low fat levels, so basically no period which makes them nearly infertile. It's rare for them to have one. I find that so creepy that that's the ideal women in some societies.

I'd guess most guys like skinny girls, but by skinny, I mean not obese. Even a little bit chubby is probably not a turn off to most guys.
Most likely that's not so different from what girls prefer in men; perhaps that could be (or already is) another thread. I have certainly seen people with obese partners though, so either they have a different preference, or are able to look beyond that because they value other qualities of the person more. The question for this topic would be, which of those is it? I think most women worry too much about their weight, though I can understand why. On that note, most women would probably benefit more from exercising than dieting; I've never understood why women seem to have this obsession with diets. As a few posters have said, everybody has their own ideal of what is attractive. To use myself as an example, I'm not particularly picky about body shape; a pretty face, nice hair and not obese is all I require from a physical standpoint. Flat or curvy, isn't really that important to me, I find them both attractive in their own way. More importantly - those three things above might make me attracted a woman, but like others have said, personality decides whether that interest remains. |

Most of us are too busy worrying about how shameful sex and the display of the human body is... But to argue the whole "low fat levels = infertile" statement, being overweight can cause infertility and birth defects too. It's all about that healthy medium. She looks like she passed the health inspection... |

Ugh, her boobs are disgusting. A rack like that makes me want her to put her shirt back on. Whoever did her surgery should get beaten in the street and left for dead. Not only are they crooked, but the one on the right looks like she had a large rock placed under her skin. What a terrible way to ruin a beautiful girl! |

Besides, with all the crazy medicines out there these days, I imagine science can solve that "problem" as well. |

Beyonce has a pretty face but her body is disgusting. She needs to lose some weight. Just my opinion.
