Personally I don't care about spoilers too much and I used to only watch anime. I was just against manga because I loved seeing the series come to life so to speak. These days I am the opposite and read manga primarily with just a few series that I watch. With that being said I don't see why it has to be on other people to try and avoid spoilers just because they like something more than the other. It isn't hard to use spoiler tags so if you just use them then people won't complain and you won't have to make threads about those complaints. It just kind of seems like you want to be lazy with posts and put everything off on the other people.

Not really and I often use spoiler tags if I feel I'm giving direct spoilers.

Let's go back in time to where Naruto fights Pain in the manga and the anime isn't there yet. If I post on the episode "I can't wait until Naruto fights Pain" if you have a problem with something like this, you should be reading the manga.

Now if I wanted to post

I would use spoiler tags

Well then I take back what I said. That example seems fair enough to me and shouldn't really warrant any complaints. I suppose it also all just depends on how important the information is. Naruto fighting Pain isn't much of a spoiler given how the story typically goes and has progressed since that point where it would just make sense that they would fight each other at some point. In my opinion it is just the things people wouldn't expect to happen and major story events that just need spoiler tags. I suppose some people would be picky enough to not want any info at all and I would have to say they need to eff off and chill out because it would just be unreasonable.

Yeah I think people think I'm going around posting things like

Naruto Spoilers

Bleach Spoilers

all willy nilly for no reason

No offense, but this thread is retarded.

Just for example; if you love watching Twilight in theaters and aren't interested or don't have time for the books, would you want someone telling you what happens in the final one, when they've only released two?
Of course not.

For a movie trilogy, saga, whatever, you want to have the full experience and you can't get that when someone's telling you everything that will happen.

What's so hard to understand about that? If they want a spoiler, they'll ask for one. That's why CR has the hide spoiler option. People should be allowed the decision, not have it forced down their throats.

I think he just wants to complain about it himself, the answer to his question has been given already a few times, in different examples, and he still presses the matter. At least, that's what I observed out of skimming all the posts.

If I get spoiled about an ending of a series or a game, doesn't mean that I will stop playing it or stop watching it, but me enjoying the game/series will be reduced a lot, because then I know what is going to happen.. But there are exceptions.. Like comedy, you can't really spoil a comedy unless you spoil every single joke that is in the series -.- So that counts aswell..

But a example which I think most would agree with is... If I were to spoil a series like Death Note... Code Geass... People would really get angry, because they are so much focused at the plot of the story, in which case, it would definitely reduce the enjoyment of the series

Are you kidding me? You expect people to read through 700 chapters, and that's your reason to be an ass? Yeah, it's 50% pictures, it's freaking manga after all. Just because people are not as hard core as you, it doesn't mean they don't care. Just like how I won't bother reading harry potter 100000 books but I still wouldn't want to know the ending. People just don't care as much.

If people don't like manga, then they don't. It doesn't matter how easy it is to read through it. People won't do things they don't like, *news flash*

You're going to spoil other people's enjoyment just because you can? What about the people who actually do read the excruciating long manga

"too bad, you weren't reading fast enough"

Hahahaha I just reread the original post and it makes even less sense now. I swear though the worst spoiling jackasses are on YouTube. I got the ending to the Sixth Sense spoiled on there and I've never gotten over it. Bastards.

I'm in agreement with a lot of other people, this thread is pretty stupid. One piece is my favourite anime and the reason I don't read the manga is because of the amount I care, as I'll enjoy watching the anime more. It's pretty hard not read the manga sometimes as I wanna know what happens in the story and I for sure don't want any spoilers, I mean how hard is it to put something in spoiler tags.

Well, I don't agree with the part about not caring enough if you aren't up-to-date with the latest because I personally like to let new episodes build up til I have a good number to watch all at once (hate cliffhangers <-<) But, it IS ridiculous to complain about spoilers if all you do is browse forums looking for people to talk about anime or manga with, or watch videos on youtube.
