Anime TV series art should never be considered top teir art.... Just think about it, anime moves it needs to be less detailed and somewhat easy to draw, else it would take way to long to make. most of the time it doesn't even look good at all... anime tv series art is often low teir art plain in simple. Plus if you really want good quality why not look at american movies who pour absurd amounts of money into the cgi there it no way some wimpy anime tv shit could beat it. I find the anime just to be showing whats going on, its easier to draw a good looking girl then it is to find one lol? its a cheap way to just draw things rather than having real actors and make real looking monster ect.

Also Accel world > SAO by alot. Codegeass is shit, and moe isn't as bad as people make it out to be its better than most action shit like codegeass, naruto, fma, and all those "good" action shows.

Yu Gi Oh Zexal can suck it
Digimon Adventure 1 & 2 are better than Tamers
Wolf Rain is Boring
Bake and Nise are Really slow paced
The Clannad dub sucks
I like K-on's dub
I don't care much about Blast of Tempest (Even though I'm sill watching it)
To Love ru and Ikki Tousen are sh*t, why are they still making new seasons of them?

How do you deal with K-On!'s dub? I own all the DVDs and I tried to re-watch it using dubs only, got to where Mio came in and I guess I just like her normal Japanese voice actor more. Do you like all the English voice actors for K-On! or do you prefer some in Japanese? Just curious.

Well Stephanie Sheh did a fine job as Yui, and I think Cristina Vee also did fine as Mio, well I say all the voice actors done a good job, plus the dub also has one of my favorite voice actors, Laura Bailey as Nodoka, Overall I like both the Japanese and English versions, unlike the Clannad dub which I don't like, Tomoya sounds like a 40 year old, Nagisa sounds... Meh (No offense to Luci Christian), and Sunohara sounds like Chrono from Chrono Crusade (I know they have the same voice actor), the only voices I'm okay with are Kotomi (Emily Neves also did Kanade), Tomoyo, and sort of Kyou's, I heard the voices got better in After Story but I don't care, just stick with the subs.

Madoka Magica's ending was a bit disappointing

First time I watched it I was a bit disappointed. Second time I thought it was okay. Third time I thought it was good. I think they call that Stockholm's Syndrome.

Future Diary wasn't that good

I thought Future Diary was excellent, but I wasn't in the anime community at the time. Was it really popular when it was coming out?

Code Geass' ending could have been better

You had 49 episodes full of opportunities for legitimate criticism...and you pick the one perfect part.

I've only watched Madoka once, so that may be it. I just didn't like that the main character ended up doing nothing the entire series.

Future Diary was really popular, and I was disappointed because Yuki kept crawling back to Yuno no matter what crazy antics she pulled. That, and I didn't think giving everyone a happy ending, including Yuki and Yuno, fit very well with the show's tone.

My whole problem with Geass' ending is exactly that, it's too perfect. With Lelouch gone, what's going to happen to the world? There's no way a one world government can be sustained without Lelouch's despotism. Will the countries just break up? If so, into what, the old nations, or some new ones? What happens to Brittannia's Areas? What will the old or new nations be like? Will they go to war with one another again? I don't buy that stuff that because Lelouch had the hatred of the entire world suddenly everyone will like each-other now. Even if everyone did hate Lelouch, that doesn't mean their hatred for each-other just disappeared. The western Allies and Stalin worked together in WWII, but they became mortal enemies the moment Nazi Germany was defeated.

Evangelion's ending is fine. The fact that people were so upset that they sent Hideaki death threats is disgraceful.

:D and his response was a remake of the ending with MORE gruesome shots, more blood and some interesting development. It makes me see how he felt about the death threats (not ging a f***).

On topic; I see death threats as the most controversial and unpopular way to tell a director what you think of his work. How he dealt with the über-trolling is awesome!

Kaicho Wa Maid-sama really blows in my opinion. The first episode was extremely boring and made me nearly tear from boredom. I find the characters to be very cliched (tsundere and the hot, cool dude who's a dick but you fall for) and the humor was very staged sounding.
Sorry if you disagree, but that's just my opinion. I love shoujou, I just find that shoujou to be poorly made. Hopefully the manga is better.

I find all of the Evangelion franchise boring.

Dubs allow me to watch a series I would never be able to watch because there actually exists Japanese VAs that are terrible or have voices I just can't stand. (aka: Kugimiya Rie)

Sports anime is amazing.

Haruhi Suzumiya was awful.

I can't stand Gintama, Death Note, and Madoka.

Harem is boring and unimaginative.

We're lucky if we get one good series in a season. <- not to be confused with getting multiple tolerable series in a season

I think I get the most shit when I say Air was CRAP!

I felt like I was watching some wanderer babysit some half-retard he ran into.
I know there was an episode that explained how it was more than that, which was the only thing that stops me from making fun of the masses that loved it. That made me not want to ever watch an anime that had anything to do with Key ever again.

Another one would be that Makoto (School Days) gets more shit than he deserves (not that he wasn't a total douchebag).
He did start to think about his fucked up actions right before he got killed after all.

And finally, ONE PIECE IS BORING! I still watched 150 eps though. I sure hope that comment doesn't start a brawl in here.

There was a comparison with AIR, that it was watching a retarded girl trying to make it in life...

Makoto was going to die of std's anyways.

One piece... needs to end, only half way through.

I think that Naruto Shippuden was always garbage to begin with. The first Naruto was very enjoyable though.
and seeing that it's still the most popular simulcast on CR, I know I'll be barraged by many insults.

this, so very much this. the first Naruto, minus the billion episodes of filler, was good. I was actually excited when I heard Shippuden was going to start airing, but right from the start it dragged more than DBZ. I got bored fast, but I kept watching for nostalgia's sake but I gave up after 20-some episodes because I couldn't take anymore. I think it was more the story itself though, because I kept reading the manga for reasons unknown to me, and it wasn't really any better either.

I find some minor characters in anime more interesting than the main characters.

The Big 3 just don't interest me, I've maybe watched an episode or a clip at most of each, they just don't appeal to me. Also, they all have too many episodes.

Haruhi Suzumiya's endless eight arc didn't irritate me that much.

I don't hate Takashi "Pervert Teacher" Nasujima; there's something appealing about him, even though he's meant to be creepy, and I just can't put my finger on it.

Slice of life isn't boring to me.

The moe art style doesn't bother me.

I'm not a dub hater, I've seen quite a few consistent, well produced dubs, and I've also seen a few crappy ones, but I don't generalize all English dubs as crap. A few animes, I prefer the dub over the sub, actually.
