Naruto vs Orochimaru

I felt this fight really helped cover the time warp and where Naruto officially stood on the ninja food chain. When Shippuuden first started, Naruto comes back, seemingly, all tough and powerful. He was trained by Jiraiya after all. They even fool you into thinking he might be on par with Kakashi. But no, this fight lets you know that while he was a bit better, he wasn't legendary.

Not only that, it really does a great job showing the struggle Naruto has with the kyuubi and how much powerful the kyuubi can be now that the seal is weakening. This is one of many crucial points in the story that help build up to the explanation of how Kurama gets sealed into Naruto, why he has a hate for the Uchiha, and why he isn't as powerful as he used to be. This point in the story really, in my opinion, the first key part of unveiling all this information. You start to slowly see Kurama more than just an evil fox from this point on because after this fight Naruto begins to shut out the kyuubi and in return is suffering from this emotionally. Without all this, the following fights, like say against Pain, would have made much less sense. It also gives great meaning to why he was so intent on learning sage techniques.

Another minor reason is that during this fight you see that Sakura is more or less still useless. She once again became the damsel in distress but she showed resolve she didn't have before. She might not be super tough, physically but her emotions were finally under control. You see her grow up for the first time really. She hides how bad the kyuubi hurt her for example. It was the first time I felt Sakura actually cared about Naruto.

Finally I would say that while Sai isn't a main character, for the most part, this fight really put you on edge not knowing what he was going to do and this made him much more interesting. Was he good or bad? Before, during, and immediately after the fight, all you could do is guess if he was double-crossing the Leaf, trying to infiltrate Orochimaru's HQ or was he just playing both sides.

Oh and I guess I should also add, besides what is stated above, this fight was awesome. You get a real glimpse of the future of Kurama's power and how it will help and hinder Naruto. Plus you get to see Orochimaru pretty much die a few times which is always great.

Yeah there are better (visual) fights in the series but this one held a lot of meaning to me as it really showed that the time jump was truly going to go in the right direction and at a good pace.

Episodes 40 - 43 roughly

There are so many moments that I love from Naruto over the years, just like One Piece, but for me, my favorite has to be Naruto vs The Nine Tails, everytime I rewatch the episode, I always enjoy it, and the scenes where Kushina helps Naruto (along with scenes from the previous episode) always bring a tear to my eye

Jiraiya VS. Six paths of Pain

This episode is so sad , jiraiya looks back on all his failures while he's about to fail again. And then he is reminded of the the one good thing he had and entrusts everything to him..... Naruto!!

Round 3: Konoha's Blue Beast, Guy VS. Monster of the Hidden Mist, Kisame

To name just one fight is hard! But since many of the ones I had in mind already is written, it made my choice a little easier.
The fact that Guy was considered a looser as young and grown up to be such a powerful shinobi through hard work is admiring.
He is one of my favorite shinobi and a good role model because he shows that hard work pays off!
This battle is unfortunately short, but with high level jutsus which makes the battle one of the most exciting battles!

10 vs 100.

In the entire series, Sakura does nothing but drool over Sasuke (the crybaby he is) and prove time after time just how absolutely worthless she is and just how bad she should be dead instead of one of the good characters like Neji, Jiraiya, etc. For once, even though it's only with Granny Chiyo's help (another person who would be more useful alive than Sakura), Sakura does a good job against Sasori. The fight was excellent. Even for someone like me who abhors Sakura and sees her as a hinderence to Hinata and Naruto coming together, this is an excellent fight.

My Favorite fight was Sasuke Vs Itachi
the Fight itself was Awesome! But it had more feelings in it trying to get revenge for your clan...but more feeling came in the end when itachi died Q_Q Susano'o was awesome move!

My favorite fight is Sasuke vs the 5 kaga's that was epic it was from episodes 197 to 221 that was nice

My favorite Naruto fight was when he enter the battlefield, where he first fought against the white annoying Zetsu, why you ask? It's because this was when we ALL first seen him used the Rasenrangan(6 rasengan), Rasenkyugan(big rasengan he do with his fox chakra arms), and finally the mini-rasen shuriken. This episode send chills down my spine hahah......anyone want to fight on Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm generation? hahah........ send me my reward pls hehe..... thanks for looking

Naruto vs Pain.
It's my favorite because of the graphics they had used from Naruto vs Sasuke were put into this fight as well. There was a bit of humor in it with some of the moves although they were dead serious. Naruto got to meet his father inside of him when the Nine Tails was rampaging which was something that tought him that his parents loved him. He managed to learn during the battle and used Pain's chakra to actually track the real one controlling them all. He managed to learn from the real one that he was Jiraiya's student as well. Naruto earned a valuable friendship in this fight. Not only from Nagato, but from Konan, and the entire Leaf Village.
