And the tradition of physical prizes going to premium members continues.

Don't worry people without memberships, you can win memberships at least

I didn't bother entering because I just lurk here for news, most of the time not even logged in, and I know even if I could have written a scholarly post about a Naruto fight, I wouldn't have won.

No disdain to the winners of course, congratulations. It is only logical from a business perspective to reward the more valued customers, though.

I actually chose them based on their answers. To prove it, please PM me your address, I'll send you a prize too.

Crunchyroll is a by fans, for fans company in the industry. I do not cater to marketing, I cater to the fans and I GAVE my reasons as to why they were chosen, premium or not - their answers made me feel, and that is what anime, ESPECIALLY Naruto is all about.

I await your address.

ALSO, I just gifted you a year long premium membership.

Please don't accuse -me- of catering to a business model.
I was hired because I am a fan, and I'll never sell my soul to industry.

The moment I think of anime as a "business" I will have no right to work here.

I think you choose the best ones sailorbee I totally agree since I didn't win I order mine i was hoping to save my money but i so badly wanted this game lol

I sometimes think that too, maybe it's because they are old enough to be able to pay for premium membership and because they are older they are smarter too?

Or it's that they can pay for membership so they get something back in return?

But to be honest they were good answers.

But what if the tabbay is just a second account to make us think that you actually sent him something and we are all being tricked? Or am I just paranoid?

Personally I think that sailor bee is right that if anyone thinks of anime as work or anything like that then what are you doing watching anime anime is fun relaxing exciting exhilarating fights love stories tragedies this to some people is as much a part of their life as eating and sleeping is if you think of people who admin this site as working for an industry then you guys seriously need to take a step back and look at how these websites are run often by non paid admins who do this just for their love of anime

Hmm I guess I should of made up a reason why I liked a fight based on some apparent deep seeded connection with it. Well whatever, just entered for the hell of it anyway. Congrats to the winners

You gave a prize and a year long membership to a hater? Sad really, rewarding people who complain isn't accomplishing anything. Why not award the people who didn't complain? I pay for this site, because I enjoy it and I want to support it. But it's a low blow when other people get free memberships for accusing people of unfair judgement. Your choices were completely justified Bee, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. I wish people would understand that these contests aren't something there entitled to, but something that you decided to make, because you wanted to make us happy. I appreciate you hosting this competition, I had fun just letting people know my favorite fight and reading others opinions.

Thank you so much for understanding how hard it is sometimes. You know, I usually try and kill people with kindness -- if that's my downfall then so be it, but don't change your opinion about Crunchyroll based on my action. The user messaged me personally explaining how my action changed his viewpoint on the company and the industry as a whole for the better -- and I think that is worth it.

If anything, I was making an example of him. I would be embarrassed if I were that user, honestly. It was the best way to show that bad sportsmanship is not something that is acceptable without being outright mean. I don't expect you to understand really, and I'm sorry if you think it's unfair, but it was what I felt was best at the time.

Again, thank you -- and you may PM me if you'd like to discuss this further. I want all of our users to be happy and content with our service and our customer service at all times.
