Naruto Shippuden Episode 247 - Target: Nine Tails

I really enjoyed the fight between Naruto and Kyuubi for a number of reasons. We get to see him fighting a tough battle full of Naruto's most powerful jutsu with his mother by his side helping him take control of Kyuubi followed by seeing his newly acquired Nine Tails Chakra Mode!!
We also get to see the beginning of Naruto learning the tragic circumstances leading up to his parents deaths in their effort to end the 3rd Great Ninja War.
So this fight was emotionally heightened and visually powerful for me to watch.

The best fight was when Naruto fought Pain (in the MANGA!) The anime really screwed up the Planetary Devastation episode... I remember seeing that in the manga and waiting for well over a year to see it animated. Not to mention that's when Naruto first got to see his dad. :]

It's barely even a fight, but it goes back to the roots, when Naruto first realised that Sasuke was going down a dark path and the start of their bond of friendship, "Unison Sign". When Sasuke takes him down in under a second with that cold dark look in his eye, as the cowboy like music rolls over, (most awesome background music ever!) Just gives me the chills, It's then you realise, damn this is going to get so intense in the future isn't it?

NOTE: The following information is solely based on episode 143 of Naruto Shippuden and nothing beyond it. Also, everything stated is solely based on my opinion. Thank you.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: "FAVOURITE FIGHT?" CONTEST ENTRY

I have many favourite fights from Naruto Shippuden.

However, if I had to choose only one, then it would have to be when the Eight-tails Killer-Bee fought against Uchiha Sasuke and the other members of the Taka.

This fight is my most favourite fight out of the Naruto Shippuden series because it sparked up many new interests in me.

One of these was when Killer-Bee revealed his fighting style. I was filled with astonishment when I saw Bee's stance with the eight swords. When the fight against Sasuke commenced, his moves we're unique and I thought they were intimidating and powerful. The part where Bee did his "Eight-Tails! Sting like a Bee!" attack, I was taken aback at the fact that his fighting style was so unique and strong at the same time! I've never seen anything like it in all of the fighting/action genre anime I've seen before.

I also enjoyed the parts where Bee would grin with an evil intent. I found it hysterical.

I was also quite impressed when Bee snapped out of Sasuke's genjutsu. The moment I saw Bee trapped within it, I thought "Oh dear, the eight-tails has fallen!" I thought wrong as Bee was able to escape from the illusionary trickery with the help of his partner, the Eight-Tails, which I also found to be an interesting concept.

I was quite disappointed in Sasuke, though. The fact that he hardly put up a fight and almost died a number of times, as well as being saved by his Taka group, was ridiculous. However, when he used his Amaterasu against the Eight-Tails form, the first thing that popped in my mind was "awesomely epic sauce kaboom burn flames DIIEIEIEEIIEEE!" Perhaps not exactly that, but close enough. The flames of Amaterasu completely took over the Eight-Tails and he was defeated. I was also impressed when Sasuke revealed the ability of being able to extinguish the flames.

When Sasuke used his mangekyo sharingan to extinguish the black flames of Amaterasu, I was shocked. I wasn't aware that Amaterasu could be put out like it was in this episode, but when I saw it, I seemed to have gained a stronger interest in the Sharingan and its abilities.

Many new things were discovered, many things were awed at, and many things were learned. Overall, this fight is my most favourite because of Bee's Eight-Tail Sword Style (what I like to call it) and Sasuke's abilities with his sharingan and Amaterasu.

Naruto vs Nine Tails Clone
Love it and the rest of the Power special anniversary series because it really highlights Naruto's growth as a character and shinobi. I mean he started out as some academy flunky who could barely take on other genin himself; now hes grown into one of the most powerful characters. This episode's fight really highlights how no matter how much jutsu or strength hes received, his real power is right there inside of him: his friends, his mom and dad, and of course him and and his ninja way "I'm not gonna run away and I never go back on my word, that is my nindō! My ninja way!"

Naruto Shippuden Episode 26 - Puppet Fight 10 vs. 100!

This episode really was one of's Shippudens best fights. Not only did Sakura prove that she was a capable shinobi, but she demonstrated great teamwork with Lady Chiyo. Sasori had to use his special reserve to fight against Chiyos special technique, secret white move. This fight was so great because it felt like a war and yet it was being fought by two puppet masters at their best. Splendid animation!

I pick the fight with Naruto & Sakura Vs Kakashi
I wanted to see how much stronger they both have gotten while training separately and I was really into this fight, Jaw dropping at Sakuras Punches and Naruto's Progress too. It is also sorta funny to see Kakashi's facial expressions about those two not to mention the ending of the fight was very clever. I also liked to see how proud Jiraiya and Tsunade were while watching their students fight against Kakashi.
They HAD to include this fight somewhere and they way they did it was very well done and I was impressed by how they did it, as much as I would of like to see Sasuke in there as well I know that wouldn't have happened.
This fight gives me goosebumps especially when Sakura first punches the ground to reveal Kakashi also Jiraiya's thought about how she raised a second Tsunade.
The short flashbacks really brought back memories about the first fight they had with the whole of Team 7 and with that implying how much stronger and smarter they both got.
I'm not sure what to say about the 'Thousand years of death jutsu' but that was just classic.
Naruto's and Sakura's teamwork improved so well even though they were away from each other for such a long time and even Kakashi was impressed on how much they have improved.
My conclusion is even though this wasn't one of the major fights in Shippuden it is still a great fight.

I'd say my favorite, and most heart-wrenching battle, was in Naruto Part 1 episodes 71-73 when Sarutobi Hiruzen, our beloved 3rd Hokage, fought and died defending the Leaf Village against Orochimaru and the resurrected 1st and 2nd Hokages, Hashirama and Tobirama Senju. This was the first time we had the pleasure of witnessing a true kage-level battle. It also showed us the true power of the Will of Fire by pitting that one old man against those three immense opponents. He may have died, but he achieved victory through defending what was precious to him, the people of the village, who he saw as his family.

My fav fight from Naruto Shippuuden was Naruto v. Pain after Hinata confessed her feelings for Naruto. Naruto struggles but with the help of Hinata's emotions and the actions of Pain, he is able to strengthen his resolve. From Nagato's ideals to the way Naruto was treated as a child, Naruto has not yet found his answers but chooses the right path anyways.

Although the fight itself was very short, you could feel the emotion in it like no other battle I have seen in the Naruto story. Also, this was a character defining moment. At the very start of the manga it was shown that Hinata admired Naruto. She believed in him at a time when everybody thought of him as a nuisance. Eventually Naruto turned into more of a role model who Hinata aspired to be like. Yet at the same time she couldn’t approach him. Over time that admiration turned into love where she wished to not only be inspired, but also to protect him. That genuine feeling of affection manifested into courage, with which she faced Pain, her strongest adversary head on.

One can only imagine how difficult it is to stand in the face overwhelming odds, where you know the outcome already, and that is death. But even though she knew, she still refused to just stand by, which she could have easily done. It was her selfless love for Naruto that made her intervene, knowing she would die as a result, but only even to make the smallest bit of difference. In doing so, Hinata finally overcame her greatest weakness. The once shy Hinata who would faint and stutter at the sight of Naruto now stood in front to protect him. And finally, as she knew it was going to be the end, she confessed her love to Naruto not wanting to carry any regrets. With that everything had come full circle.

Ultimately even though she lost, she tried her best. That is very much a life lesson for everyone in general. Even if you keep failing, you need to keep picking yourself back up and trying your very best so that at the end you don’t regret that you never tried. This is the very reason I loved this fight the most; not because it was fully action packed, but rather because it allowed for great character development and taught very valuable lessons as undertones.
