Hey man

I always see Anohana on the shelf when i'm out picking up a few things and it has caught my eye... You reckon it worths giving a go ay?

Yessir. As far as shows that might bring a tear to your eye, it's one of the best. If you have 4 or so hours free watch it in one sitting, you won't regret it. (Although you may be left with a heavy heart for a while.)

It's also on CR if that's easier for you.

Nichijou/My Ordinary Life. It's the only Slice of Life anime I've seen so far, but it's hilarious.

Like Balzack said, since Slice of Life intertwines with so many different genres it's kind of hard to choose just one out of them.

Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! and Working!! is probably in my top 10 of slice of life, with the former probably being in my top 3 of all Anime.

I can also give shout outs to shows like: Nichijou, Daily Lives of High School Boys, Genshiken, Hidamari Sketch, Hyouka, Kimi ni Todoke, Lucky Star, and Yuruyuri.

Top Eleven (because why the hell not?) in no specific order:
1. Lucky Star
2. Sakura Trick
3. Non Non Biyori
4. Super Sonico: The Animation
5. My Ordinary Life
6. Servant x Service
7. Pet Girl of Sakura Hall
8. Toradora
9. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions
10. My Teenage Romantic Comedy SNAFU
11. Oreimo

Honesty I like all the anime I see equally. I can't choose it'd be impossible, like Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann in reality impossible.

Welcome to the NHK is a really cool slice of life which has characters outside of the school setting and that's pretty rare. That might also be the reason why I like Genshiken alot as well since every character in both of these are in college or already working.

Beck. Slice of life is a genre that usually bores me but because I'm interested in music I really enjoyed that aspect of it. The lack of significant romance was a plus, too. I also liked Say "I love you" if that's even slice of life... And Lucky Star was interesting when I was 10. XD I should rewatch it sometime.

Seconding Sora No Woto, much feels. Not sure Haibane Renmei counts, but that one too. Technically not an anime (it has a couple of OVAs),) but Yokohama Shopping Trip is bloody amazing. Slice of Life at the end of the world.
