Why do we live just to die.

Life is the journey, not the endpoint. All living things and relationships will end so do we skip the journey and jump to the end? That would not be fun. Try to have some fun while on the journey.

I don't think that anyone starts any kind of relationship hoping for it to end. It's how life goes. I just got out of a 7 year relationship which hit complications last year due to her being diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Now, of course I'm sad - I was with this girl since I was 14, I literally grew up and became a man whilst I was with her, but do I wish it didn't happen?

Hell no.

My life is better for having known her and the time we spent together.

It's all about perspective

You're asking two very different questions, but I think it's natures way.
Very few actually find their one true soulmate, and that's because it's damn hard... So I could imagine the majority settling for less (let's be honest, specifically women... hahaha) and that usually results in all the rubble popping back out under the blanket where you hid it to begin with, in other words! If people were more honest to them selfs instead of engaging to the left and right constantly, maybe it would be a better world for lovers?

Oh yeah and of course then there's the teen years where it's just a clusterfuck of a hormone fest with the constant search and desire for sex.
Especially right after we have sex for the first time! It's like discovering a treasure that was hidden right in front of us.
Oh yes and finally... The romanticized motion picture that everyone seems to star in, is pretty much bound to fail. It's life, not Hollywood.

Use the hurt as a tool to be wise and move beyond the shadow. Personally, i don't sympathize, what people usually seek is a sensation and it's what they get.

Sounds like you have gone through some heartbreak. We meet people because humans are social creatures, we are not meant to be alone, I think. And although that person is gone, you still have your memories with them. Its okay to cherish the moments you had with that person but do not linger in the past. It’s sad to see them go but it is a part of life. You must learn to pick yourself back up and move on. It may be difficult, but it is not impossible. You are not the only one who has ever felt this way. I’m pretty sure everyone at one point or another has felt the same. Instead of regretting your meeting with a person just (in the words of the band All American Rejects) move along. You may always have to say goodbye to someone but know that conversely, you will always meet new people and find someone who can fill that gap of sadness in your heart.

Well from a scientific/biological standpoint the reason every organism lives is to insure the continuation and survival of their species (reproducing)…. But from a philosophical standpoint, I think we live because we all have a purpose. Hear me out though. I also think we can decide for ourselves what we want our purpose to be. Or maybe we all just live to get a chance at happiness or maybe we live just to live. Maybe that is the point. Perhaps there is no reason. I guess what I’m trying to get at is that life is meant for living (like actual living, like going out and doing things or having fun doing whatever. Just make sure that whatever it is not illegal or something bad haha) . So just enjoy life.
