How difficult do you find meeting people to talk about anime/manga with.
|
I can find people to talk about anime/manga in anime conventions but those only happen once every few months. I barely ever meet people to talk about anime/manga in person though only when I was in college in the anime club.

Lol, who talks about it.
I watch anime for the personal feels, which is why i'm sick of hearing people analysing anime, criticising lack of character development, or plot, or whatever. It's like, you do know the REAL reason you're not enjoying it? Because you're a big fan of reductionism, you miserable cunt. |

Right now, i'm all it, kid.

Growing up as a comic book enthusiast, I learned that there's only one way to approach people with whatever makes you, You! And that's with confidence... Doesn't matter if it's comic books/anime or a passion for milking goats... Whatever your thing is, don't worry about what others think about it.
And if people do respond with something like "how can you be into that childish crap" or something narrowminded like that, well... That's where the freedom to ignore those people, come in.. |

One month has passed and I'm just figuring this thing out ^__^

Not very difficult, the only problem I face is that I fear that I know way too much about it in comparison to my friends, leading me to avoiding getting into details unless I know they can rival my knowlege.
... Yeah, it's akward, like talking about COD with an 11 year old. |

Am I gonna get paid for this??

There's a "Manga" Club at my school. I hate every single member of it though.
It really isn't that hard to find people, though. |

But I live instead in my head, William S. Burroughs in my hands.

It's not so hard for me because most of my friends are hardcore anime watchers. Infact they're th ones who even got me to be intrested in anime, manga and gaming.

Not that hard. I live in California and everybody knows about Annie Mae and Mahngah.

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.

I have a few friends in real life who are into manga and anime, but we don't talk about it that much. I guess it's just because we have different tastes. Meh, we're still friends.

ugh, I hate being sick...even if I'm off of school...

Well, there used to be 3 people in the form above me that were into Anime/Manga, but they've graduated last year.
Recently, I've been able to convince one of my friends to try it, and now, he's recommending me anime -.-" Such a hypocrite... especially after all those jokes he's thrown at Anime/Manga over the past 2 years. But yeah, there's also about 4 people in the form below me thats into it too so |

not many anime fans in my area. every once in a while i meet somebody that does, but they mostly turn out to live far away from me, or they are barely getting into it, or kind of into it, which is still awesome to me, because there is at least somebody.
Back then though when i was in elementary school and middle school a lot of people used to watch anime on t.v and stuff like that but then they stopped. then since it wasn't on t.v as much they lost contact with it and lived on with other influences and just followed whatever crowd. it just sucks how there aren't that many people opened minded to this kind of stuff. |

not enough time! Wrahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
|

|
people my age? not many. Younger folks i've met have only seen stuff like Naruto because it's more popular.
