YES!!! *panics just thinking about them* I need to take a xanax now...

*Edit*
However, I do get funny looks from people when they find out I don't like injections because the fact that I have quite a few tattoos. I'm not afraid of the needle per say, it's more so the fear of the unknown substance they're forcing into my body. I guess it's weird, or so I've been told.

Needles are okay for me im a big fan of tattoos so its kind of a must for me. As far as shots or jabs go..nope my face is right where the needle goes in (helps ease the injection anxiety) but I dont hate them

One time, when I was young, I had to get this single shot. It took 2 nurses per leg, one put their whole body weight to keep my torso as still as he could, took two nurses on each arm to hold them down long enough for one of them to use their belts to tie my arms down to the table. Which had to be done because I punched one of them in the face during the struggle.
Even after being held down good enough to be given a shot, the doctor had a very hard time to properly inject the needle in, so after a few attempts, he kinda just jabbed it and pushed.

Least that is what my mother tells me. I don't remember the whole episode. But I do know I was deathly afraid of needles back then, and avoided them at all cost.

I've had to get so many over the last few years that I actually somewhat enjoy them. It's an irregular part of the day, which makes it a bit exciting! xD

I don't really like them but i'm not afraid of them.
I used to be, but in the past few years i've needed blood drawn several times and had some surgery so it really doesn't phase me now.

Not afraid of shots but afraid of my own body's reaction. I have a condition that if I don't have enough blood sugar, my nerve's reaction to the shot causes me to get light headed or pass out. It's not mental, the light headed issue starts about 10-20 seconds AFTER the shot.

I'm a firefighter, every year we have to get a physical...including blood work.
Every time I tell them I pass out from needles, they either laugh, look at me strange, or don't believe me. I have to lay flat & not look or I freak out...

Let me explain pure terror of needles

A little while ago, we had 2 firefighter funerals, I was helping with the one, and we had THOUSANDS of firefighters standing outside in the blizzard from all over the country (And canada, and some even from poland o.o)

I ended up getting severe hypothermia... In the ambulance I witnessed what terror truly is >_>
Not being able to move because your muscles are all retracted, and staring at the only place you can, your arms, and watching them slowly inject you with IV after IV...
I couldn't talk, couldn't yell... Imagine Mio in K-on...I kinda just stared helplessly, tears rolling away >_>

(The scene I'm talking about in K-On)

The one near my eyes left me terrorised. Your instincts are stronger about the eyes. Guess why.

Felt like a champ after I took it though.

Injection is also the technical term in the UK.

Shots near the eyes?!?! Oh my gosh. I'm probably the worst with my eyes. When I go to the eye doctor I dread eye drops, shining of the light in my eye, etc. My eyes are VERY sensitive. I don't know if they're above the normal sensitivity, but they are definitely sensitive to anything and everything. Mad respect for dealing with those eye shots.

And not gonna lie I totally wikipedia'd the technical terms to make sure everyone knew what I was talking about ha probably not the best choice on my part.

Haha even though they were trying to help you it sounds like something out of a Saw movie.

I get a few every couple days now. If I was that scared of them, I don't think I'd still have my sanity.

Besides, shots aren't nearly as scary as that one kid at school who bites people on sight...

Getting shots has never bothered me I usually watch them stick the needle in. I don't really like having to do labs because I always get light headed when they take my blood even though it is only a little bit.

I don't believe in getting shots for anything. I fill out a form to get exempt from taking them for my college.
