I think what he means is that he dislikes it when people say on their profile something like, "If you never talk to me I'll deny your friend request/delete you", yet never start conversations with anyone. Maybe.
I don't think I can help you with that last sentence, though. >__>

In other words; hello, my name is;(whatever), & if you don't talk to me via instant message, private message or give obvious feedback to my declaration of greeting because I'm probably trying to get people to visit my profile for views because its apparently super important to have a million friends online to seem popular in some aspect of life; will delete and deny your futile existence. Or on the other hand have you ever tried to start a conversation online and miserably failed?
I would like to know if others also feel insecure on this very... very hard thought subject of interest.

I think I'm kind of that person, too, to a degree. I like talking to people enough, but I'm absolutely terrible at starting conversations. I get irrationally nervous that the person won't want to talk to me. :T
I won't delete someone for not talking to me, though. Not my style.
