Do you have a habit of download gigabytes of anime but don't actually watch them? or say that you'll watch them later?

I don't exactly download it but I have rented a bunch from netflix copied them over to my harddrive sent them back and cancelled my account. I still haven't seen all of them but one day...ok I'll probably forget I have them again but there is a chance I will watch them at some point.

Oh yes, but lately i have started finishing some of the incomplete or new animes. Problem is that more just keep piling on.

If I don't have to do it, I won't. If I have to do it, I'll make it quick.

Never crossed my mind to download anime. I'm cautious about doing something such as that anyway.

You basically get letters in the mail saying to stop and after the 6th one they slow your internet speed a little. I have only ever received one letter way back when I downloaded The Dark Knight and I download a ton of stuff. With anime especially it isn't too bad because they don't really monitor it. |

If you're in America, you should also be aware of the new "six strike law" or the Copyright Alert System (CAS). If you're unfamiliar with it, read up and learn: - Here’s what an actual “six strikes” copyright alert looks like - [Source: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/02/heres-what-an-actual-six-strikes-copyright-alert-looks-like/] - 'Copyright Alert System' rolls out to catch illegal downloaders - [Source: http://news.cnet.com/8301-1009_3-57571237-83/copyright-alert-system-rolls-out-to-catch-illegal-downloaders/] Most ISPs will warn you, then take over your browsers with pop-ups so you can't do much online, and some will even decrease your connection speed. The new system will affect people downloading fansubs who are not behind a VPN or proxy, so it might be in your best interest to take it seriously. They are not just looking for people stealing American movies, TV shows, and American music. They are looking at ALL traffic outside of dark pools. So heads up. |

Nope, don't really download anime. There's lots of anime I'd buy or add to a queue I'd never watch, though.

You shouldn't download any anime that does not belong to you.
