Definitely an admirable goal, but I'm not sure how it'll look on a résumé. You might want to set the bar a bit higher.

Only point in paying for games:
Online.
IF there is no online, no point in wasting the money.

I used to download quite a bit in the past before CR existed... or any streaming site for that matter. The ol' IRC days... I still have that content btw :)

Thankfully I live in Canada, and I don't have that 6 strike rule... yet. Thankfully, I have a personal bought VPN with encryption software, so my ISP doesn't even know what I'm doing.

Downloading shows is bad and you should feel bad. Unless it's Legend of the Galactic heroes, and there's no possible way to find it in English otherwise, and the Japanese blu-rays are like two grand plus.

I actually have a habit of buying a crapton of DVDs when there are good sales on RightStuf, and not watching half of them.

Pretty much, if I see a show that I've heard was good, and it's on sale, I'll pick it up on impulse.

Knowing Stephen Harper, he'll probably try to pass it under another omnibus bill.

This is why I keep a list of about 5 maximum ongoing animes (to allow for genre variation). I'll start more, maybe one or two episodes, but only to try them out and see if they are good. Then they go on the to watch list, although the ones on that list seem to never get watched...

No. I don't.

If you're in America, you should also be aware of the new "six strike law" or the Copyright Alert System (CAS). If you're unfamiliar with it, read up and learn:

- Here’s what an actual “six strikes” copyright alert looks like
- [Source: http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2013/02/heres-what-an-actual-six-strikes-copyright-alert-looks-like/]

- 'Copyright Alert System' rolls out to catch illegal downloaders

Most ISPs will warn you, then take over your browsers with pop-ups so you can't do much online, and some will even decrease your connection speed.

The new system will affect people downloading fansubs who are not behind a VPN or proxy, so it might be in your best interest to take it seriously. They are not just looking for people stealing American movies, TV shows, and American music. They are looking at ALL traffic outside of dark pools.

So heads up.

The six strike system is a scam in itself, these companies have admitted they have no legal authority over the content. They can warn you, and annoying you, but nothing else. You will quickly find this is just another attempt for ISPs to make money as some have already said they will CHARGE customers for an arbitrator who feel they were wrongfully reprimanded, others said they will CHARGE customers to return speeds to normal.
