Fate/Zero
I tried watching a few eps, got to where they summoned Sabre. Saw nothing to interesting, got bored and moved on to better things. I heard it was a masterpiece, but if the first few episodes are boring as hell, it's flawed. |

About two thirds of every season is like this for me.
I pick up most shows offered in any given season, and drop many of them after two or three episodes (sometimes sooner). Almost any show can interest me for at least a couple episodes, but not many hold my attention through their full run. It's cheaper to do this now with streaming sites such as Crunchyroll, Hulu, Funi, etc.... was a bit more expensive doing it when VHS/DVD was the primary method of show sampling. |

oreshura. episode 1 was really good, but it started to decline rapidly. I dropped it after episode 3.

Mysterious girlfriend X
I was watching it, but it just got so boring, the boy was so annoying IMO and I didn't particularly like the artwork so there wasn't much keeping me into the series. |

We judge ourselves by our intentions, and others through their actions.

This season I dropped Maoyu and Tamako Market after 8 episodes, after being super hyped for both, but they're just boring in my opinion.
I almost dropped Bakemonogatari after episode 3, but then I realized the error of my ways. That's why I gave the two above such long runs before passing judgment. aidenraine wrote: oreshura. episode 1 was really good, but it started to decline rapidly. I dropped it after episode 3. To be fair, episode 3 was awful, but the show did get better. But don't feel obligated lol, there are better things to be watched. |

If I fail my finals I blame Crunchyroll and not myself.

Since I often start watching shows knowing very little about them, I don't usually count them as having "got my interest" until I've watched a few episodes. And if they get my interest after 3 or 4 episodes, I keep watching them and don't drop them even if a few more episodes later my interest starts lagging. That said, the show this season that I've come closest to dropping after the initial 3-4 episode "trial" period is Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East. If this is a 13-episode show, then I'll probably finish it, but if it's longer, I quite possibly won't.
