I know it's weird for me to say this, but if I don't watch Gintama I get very aggressive at work and lash out at people that works under me.every time I watch Gintama(re-watch old episodes or watch new episode) I feel very mellowed out and I'm nice to my colleagues.
Is there an anime like that for you? |

Anything can be addictive and the side effects of not getting your usual "dose" are pretty universal for all addictions. Some more extreme than others.

No.. but there are animes that I watch to cheer myself up. However, manga is a completely different story. If I can't read the newest chapter of my favorite mangas the day they come out I get really annoyed. Is that kinda the same?

When I watch Key's anime, I smile, cry, smile again, and then enter a 3-day depression.
When I watch Lucky*Star, I feel proud to be an Otaku- not hating this society. When I watch Squid Girl, I suddenly want to go to the sea. When I watch Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu, I want to break out in dance. When I watch Working, I want to get a part time job. |

Hmm, I guess I watch Natsume whenever I need to unwind. After a few eps I feel nice and refreshed.
Whenever I watch Eden of the East, it makes me want to go out and get a really cool job, lol. |

Gintama makes me feel a bunch of different emotions.
I'll be dying of laughter, then in less than a minute I'll be crying like a baby.. Then laughing my ass off again xD I swear, Gintama is just too amazing.. No other anime makes me feel that way xD |
|
Sorry lovelies. I've abandoned you all. ~on semi-hiatus~

When I watch Lucky Star I want to become even more of an otaku.
When I watch Kuroko's Basketball I want to work out more and join a sports team. (No lie) When I watch You and Me I feel really relaxed and often want to text my friends or walk my dog. |

Ano Hana - makes me feel happy and warm inside, then forces tears out of me.
One Piece - makes me feel all mad and angry because some characters piss me off, then all happy because those characters get wrecked. Clannad Afterstory - makes me feel happy and sad, and it makes me laugh. I also feel all these other emotions; damn. |

If we can't be honest, happiness and sadness are just meaningless.

If I'm excited, but I need to sleep, I watch Galaxy Express 999. After 2 episodes, I'm gone.
