Though I feel conflicted about the term (outsider house?), been bumping alot of tracks by mostly American electronic musicians like Anthony Naples, Delroy Edwards, and Huerco S. who take house music and bring in a lo-fi/noise approach

We must be long lost souls... All the bands listed are always on high rotation for me

Love the Tunes!! Do you guys gig much? hearing a bit of Renaldo and the loaf and Snakefinger in there as well.

BTW: Did you ever get to see Bungle live? One of the bands I played in had the pleasure of supporting them for a few shows for the '96 Disco Volante tour here in Australia. Was a dream come true!

I listen to Avant-Garde Metal ( This is a Sub-genre of Metal that /usually/ would have circus type themes, orchestra or other more vintage themes). so here is some that I love.

Diablo Swing Orchestra: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsmAF9cVPm4

I am of course a big fan of Mr.Bungle; additionally I think any of the projects involving Mike Patton are just gold. (see also: Peephole, Tomahawk, Fantomas, Faith No More)

Yeah I've listened to a lot of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. Of Natural History is a great fuckin' album. Does anybody know if they ended up releasing their fourth LP? I remember they were supposed to do that along with a DVD of live performances. But never saw anything come out of that.

I was gonna buy the LP they put out but it's only single sided and i'm poor. The cover of Jun Togawa is great though(;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LbVnTE9QPU I liked this Hatsune Kaidan song too.

Haven't heard of Macintosh Plus but will check them out, I see they have a band camp.

Hopefully Fantomas will get around to releasing a new album soon, but I think it may be a while due to the Faith No More reformation and new album.

Agreed on the Patton front, but there have been a few in my books I'm not really into. Peeping Tom for one!

I don't think SGM have released that album yet(or if they ever will) ... which is disappointing. Are you a fan of Idiot Flesh?

Macintosh Plus is well known for popularizing the "genre" vaporwave. Which is like old 80s songs slowed down, chopped and screwed and mixed with elevator music and stuff. Album art usually consists of pictures of old statues, old technology, old statues, windows xp...

Her track "リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー" is probably the most well known song in the genre.

Haven't got into Faith No More yet... I think I listened to half an album a while back... nothing really connected with me... need to explore them more. I dig Fantomas stuff so much though. The Director's Cut is awesome and also introduced me to some movies that I need to check out.
