I loved all the glitches in Halo 2 the best. Something about all those glitches made the game feel complete. Superbouncing, and Swordflying added new ways to explore outside the games boundaries and glitches like the BXR and RRX made the game feel like there were more options for combat and gave the game a new aspect that resembles learning techniques in fighting games. I think Halo 2 had the rare case where glitches rather then hinder a game, improved it instead.

Becoming temporarily invincible in WoW on my rogue during Cataclysm.

No. No, I won't drop out of a battleground that I waited 5 minutes to get into. It was back to business as usual in the next battleground, though ..

I remember playing Halo 2 with a friend waaay back when it first came out. I must've been like 13 or 14. We found out you could get out of the map on one of the earlier missions and it seems like the developers meant for it to happen because you could still find vehicles and guns on this landscape that stretched for miles. It was so fun just exploring it, though. No clue why.

Garland the Great over on YouTube discovered an absolutely incredible glitch as a result of screwing up a cheat code designed to mess around with the gil counter in Final Fantasy 7. In the video he posted (link below) he entered the following codes into his gameshark emulator:

C209D 26C2108
8009D 260018E

The result was a catastrophic and hilarious series of glitches in the menu screens, the world map, and even dungeon and town field maps. I haven't tried it out myself, but I will at my next opportunity. Everything starts going crazy, from your current and max HP/MP entries, to your attributes (Strength, Dexterity, etc.), to your gil amount. The clock freaks out, your location bar has a bunch of gibberish written in it, entering vehicles sends you to different events (sometimes on different disks), this glitch single-handedly butchers the game in amazing and hilarious ways.

Even if you don't want to try it for yourself (or just can't get it to work), it's worth it to check out his video to see the glitches for yourself.

Just gave it a shot. This code's a blast! I've always been into tinkering with stuff in video games.

How many times do i have to tell people this.... It's not a glitch. They did that on purpose! Why is it so hard to belive a 500pound giant couldn't send you flying like that? I'll never understand.

Vanish/X-Zone FF 3 1.0 (Fixed in 1.1 and all proceeding ports) It is a "bitch you think you all powerful and all mighty we will see about that" move. I know cheap but it was a way to end the game fast instead of having to fight him and waste time. (And no I have a rule. Finish a game normally without any cheap or cheating. THEN Cheat this way I do not ruin the experience of having to figure out the correct path to victory.)

Anybody play Tecmo Super Bowl for the original NES? Well, there's a nose tackle named Bob Nelson on the Green Bay Packers who was made ridiculously fast, so much so that as soon as the offense hikes the ball, you could control Bob Nelson to have him easily run around the defense and sack the Quarterback almost every time.

In MW2, if you make the right jumps on a certain Spec ops Mission, where your in Pripyat/Chernobyl, you can gain access to the city and the power plant where it would normally be blocked off. I thought it was pretty awsome

In Star Wars Battlefront there is this glitch where you continuously roll in the corner in the diner in mos eisley. If you get it right, you will get into the wall and nobody can see you. You can't see them either but your pointer goes red when there's an enemy so you just have to go from there. Every glitch in the Sims was hilarious but sometimes horrifying.

This isn't a glitch but I loved the codes in Age of Empires and Age of Mythology. (Example: typing in O Canada will get you an invincible lazer bear with a Canadian flag).

There's a glitch in Super Smash Bros. for the N64 that I learned about. One player plays as Ness and the other player plays as Fox. The player who plays as Ness must use PK Thunder on Fox's reflector which reflects back. Then you have to hit the PK thunder that reflected back with Ness's baseball bat which hits back and then the game freezes

I can't think of the absolute best one off the top of my head, I know Tabula Rasa had a base capture point that where the boss would bet stuck in the teleporter trying to get a player, and would get trapped unable to get out and he would stay there until a strong enough player came and killed him.
