I appreciate how some people are focusing on emotions, but i'm not sure if that's something you can "learn" in the traditional sense.

Oh yes, you can definitely learn emotional intelligence if you are willing to learn it.

Ah, I see. I misunderstood their intentions then. Yes, I definitely agree that one can (and should) learn emotional intelligence. However, i was speaking more to the idea of "studying emotions rather than feeling them in order to understand them."

Perhaps i'm a bit too classically minded, but I like to keep a small divide between emotions and reason. I dislike when people try to reduce happiness and sadness solely to biochemistry (or even environmental psychology). Obviously not everyone agrees with that, but it seems a bit too "cold" for my taste. I suppose i'm just a hopeless romantic lol.

Respect and discrimination.

Nothing annoys me more when I see a bunch of kids or adults disrespecting others for their own selfish or immature reasons. Sure, kids are still young and don't really understand right from wrong, but that's not an excuse. Also, the fact that some people judge others simply by the clothes they wear, their skin colour, etc. It irritates me.

Don't be rude, but NEVER answer any cops questions when they call you in for questioning. Never.

And yet here you are, wasting precious time that you could be doing something productive with.

Hah! Well, if it's stocks we're talking about, then no... the only cure for catching that falling knife is poverty.

It would be something productive if only i knew what the opportunity cost was

- I finished high school, college, university, got a job..got bored of that and opened my own then i allowed myself this pleasure

I didn't indulge in many things when i was younger and i'm not saying you can't procrastinate but it would be sound advice to learn that it may not mean much to you when you think about it
