Hi!
Need your help with this one.
After redeeming this 14day free trial the streaming became difficult.
Do you know how to solve this issue?
It really pisses me off!
I so much wanted to watch the Anime!
Help here.
Can't figure out what is the cause of this sudden difficult streaming.
Just wanna cry now!

Just use the Video Playback problems link under the video player and go through the options. cant expect someone to give a reponse when we don't know the problems. It could be your connection to the server or something like that

I think s/he means that the new settings switched his/her computer to 1080p streaming instead of the standard quality.

Anier, look just below the box where you watch the show. See if you can find something that says:

[--SD--][--480p--][--720p--][--1080p--]

Click on SD. Sorry if that doesn't solve your problem.

Crunchyroll has a Video Troubleshooting Guide that might help: [http://www.crunchyroll.com/help?topic=video]. Basically it sounds like you have the video quality set too high for your computer/connection. You can change the playback quality in your account settings. Example:

Log-in and go to Settings.



This page will appear:



Click on Video Preferences and then change Default Video Quality to see if that helps with playback. It sounds like you'll want to either change it to 480P or SD, but it's possible you have it set on 1080P by accident. 480P is where I'd start. If that's still choppy or difficult to playback, then try SD.

If 480P works fine, try 720P for the heck of it. If 720P doesn't playback well, then you found your upper threshold and you should probably leave it at 480P or SD.

Whats the point in getting the 14 day trial if you stream in SD?


The removal of the advertisements. Though i too use 1080 for most anime. there's a few where i gotta use 720 though.

Well i have tried deleting the history and clearing cache yet it is still having the same scree. Im using my mobile. Maybe because of that but it wasnt like that before i availed the free trial. Too difficult for me now.
just dont understand how did it became like this.

As I recall, CR did institute 1080p as the default setting when persons activate a premium membership (or trial).

I suppose they didn't want people saying, "This doesn't look any better" (without realizing they were watching the same resolution), but if you have a slow computer or connection, it can certainly cause issues.
