Free 30-day trial
|
Hi. I got an e-mail giving me a free 30-day trial, which I activated using PayPal. I am currently not planning on turning it into a full subscription yet (4.99 a month, but I don't use CR that much), so a single question: If I cancel the automatic payment in my PayPal control panel now, does it insta-cancel my current 30-day trial or does it stay active until the end of the month?

If you have less than 30 days on your subscription, it automatically cancels, but I can't recall if the exact language was "less than 30 days" or "30 days or less" (I suspect the latter). While I'll agree cancelling the remainder of a paid subscription immediately is something that should be changed, I don't see any problem with CR cancelling the remainder of a free trial when you cancel. After all, you are effectively stating you've already made up your mind and won't be subscribing. |

Yes, that's my real age.
