I saw a thread for BEST scary games, however this one is a bit different.

I am looking for new horror games to get into, so i was wondering what you guys could recommend.

My most recent PC favorite: The Lost Crown: A Ghost Hunting Adventure. You may remember the company who makes this series did the likes of Dark Fall, etc. I have been impatiently awaiting the sequels release and once in a while i email the author JB just to check on progress, it seems due for release this summer.

I love point and click versions like Myst, etc.

To help with this, i do also enjoy horror stories in general like FEAR, FEAR 2, etc. Even if the genre itself is a bit on the different side.

I am not a fan of zombies though.

I have been looking at different indie horror titles.

Anything dealing with psychic powers, ghost hunting or ghosts in general is a plus.

Hidden Object games are OKAY, however i prefer pure storyline as opposed to finding objects.

Fatal Frame Series on PS2 was one of my all time favorites, i liked the almost rpg feel with the camera obscura upgrades.

If you have hand-helds, here are a few games you may like that aren't from a major franchise (ie. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, etc.):
