Not only do i think there should be no age limit to watching anime, i think fetuses and corpses should be allowed to watch anime. I think i've covered all the bases.

No age is too old. It's the same as watching a non animated film.

I know a lot of adults who enjoyed "Frozen" more than their kids haha o;

I guess the only way you're too old for anime is when you decide to stop watching it for good.

That's essentially asking 'when are you so old you'll get bored of your hobby'? If it's something you really like, you can't ever be too old for it. There is no age limit. Hell, my dad is in his 50s and sells guns, yet from time to time he'll watch Spongebob. I usually watch anime for a good, engaging story and you can never be too old for that.

Going on age limit alone, a person wouldn't tell you you're too old to be watching an 18+ film, so why would an 18+ anime be any different? I'm not saying it HAS to be 18+, certainly not, but anime, like most forms of entertainment, is made to appeal to all ages. Even then the people who make anime are adults with jobs, be them artists, voice actors, animators etc. By watching anime you're supporting the work they've created and are pretty much contributing to putting food on the table for them. No-one should make you feel ashamed for that.

Anyone who judges you on your personal interests isn't worth bothering with. You should be associated with someone for who they are as a person, not what their hobbies and past times are. People who judge others on those things are the definition of shallow and usually aren't worth your time.

Right now I'm 20 and by the time I'm 50 I imagine it'll be a lot more common. Anyone who's 35-50 right now and still watching with the intent to keep doing so is fucking awesome. Screw people who try to make anyone feel silly for watching anime or generally being so judgmental or closed-minded as to make someone feel bad or weird for doing something so harmless.
