I have a ps3 and an HD tv. I use a HDMI cable to connect the two. Sound from the tv is okay...but i want to use my Studio headphones which have a 3.5mm jack... Is there anyway i can get GOOD sound quality to play on my headphones?

I could always buy a different headset but the studio ones i already got are super good, i figured if all i needed was some sort of converter thingy, then that would be awesome.

Big thing about this is that i want GOOD sound quality and i also want to keep my good picture quality too.... anybody know of a way? i couldn't find one...

Your TV should have a 3.5mm audio out specifically for headphones. Did you try using that?

I think they use 2.5 I think.... you need an adapter. You can go to radio shack or best buy and find one.

It should definitely be a 3.5, it is the standard. The only things that I know of that use 2.5 are mobile devices, although phones have moved away from that, and office phones.

Well, it is one of the cheaper HDtv's .. i looked on the back and it only one 3.5mm and thats for audio input...

it would be nice if i could get the sound directly from my ps3 though...

That would be nice, but adding multiple audio outputs would take up more space. What audio outputs does your tv have?
