How would everyone feel if Crunchyroll picked up shows like Young Justice?
|
I think that it would be rather awkward and a bad move for Crunchyroll to suddenly start showing American cartoons. Isn't this site specifically meant cater to fans of Japanese cartoons, comics, and other products?

I like cartoons and I wouldn't mind seeing them on crunchyroll but at the same time I feel they kinda already have their place on CN and disney channel, so if crunchyroll did start showing cartoons a wouldn't mind it but I feel they should just stay on CN and DIsney Channel.

I think it would be better if crunchyroll did not pick up western cartoons. As already mentioned, this is an site that distributes a particular type of material, and it may be best if they concentrate on acquisitions pertaining to that material. No need to take away resources from the core offering in order to branch out; unless crunchyroll plans to become a general animation site that also carries drama's from south-east Asia. Last I checked, the sites subscriber base is still growing with what its currently doing, so I don't see the need for the risk. At least, sitting at my computer screen. I guess I see the merit in the argument that this type of move could be a supplement to the current streams, in cases when it would not take away from the usual acquisitions; but, even then, as someone who uses this site just for anime, I would prefer it if crunchyroll saved any extra money at the end of the seasonal round of title-grabs for a later investment in its current business model. Whether that investment is to grab a more higher profile anime title later down the line, or is put towards the companies growth in some other way.

Against it...
I think they should offer streaming music for anime soundtracks. Sometimes, I like an opening or ending, but I can't find it on youtube because it gets deleted, i have to come here and click on an episode just to listen to a song... |

Cr = anime
crunchyroll is not a site for cartoons, only anime. If crunchyroll starts bringing cartoons, into the streaming. I will most likely cancel my premium membership |

What is Young Justice anyway?

I can already control reality with my mind, banning me is pointless.
